My husband got the Capricciosa pizza, 11 year old daughter got the Margherita, toddler devoured the linguine and meatballs and our waiter recommended the shrimp with white wine and red sauce penne pasta dish ... and let me tell you everything was out of this world DELICIOUS (coming from someone who lived in Italy for 4 years) we topped it off with their tiaramisu... *perfection*
HOWEVER; we were dissapointed to discover half of our leftovers missing upon returning home and looking forward to devouring this delicious food a second time. The waiter boxes the food when you request a box.... and we only came home with half of our incredible meal *sad day*
Overall 10/10 for food and service, we sat outside as we did not have a reservation, and our waiter was phenomenal.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Have lived in Crestview for about 5 years and I’ve just recently heard about this place. We are always trying to find local places with great service and cuisine. Tradewinds by FAR exceeded all expectations! Our server Shelly was attentive and super friendly. The prices for the amount of food you get are crazy (in a good way!). VERY reasonable prices for scrumptiously big portions of food. Any of the dishes can be easily split between two people for a full meal (to include the HUGE bruschetta!). I ordered the veal piccata and my son ordered the seafood special (shrimp in a vodka sauce with pene pasta). Both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I was very happy to have a cut of veal instead of a mincemeat patty like a lot of restaurants use. Then we had to try their tiramisu. Oh WOW!! Y’all, if you haven’t tried this place you NEED to make a reservation and get in! I cannot wait to try everything on their menu!
Fantastic food with clearly authentic Italian......if you pass this by, you are making a mistake. Love your spicy muscles, veal, and food in general. Have never been dissatisfied in my order. Thanks! Keep it up!

Small hole in the wall restaurant that doesn't need to boast. It's small and quaint on the outside but you walk in and the atmosphere is super relaxed and lively.
Great olive oil with unique blend of spices to accompany fresh bread. Awesome service from Teresa!
We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken and to keep it short, it was absolutely delicious. We have been all over the United States and have tried many Alfredos and this restaurant is absolutely top 10.
Of course we completed this amazing dinner with dessert and had the cannoli which is a must! The filling is handmade and delicious.
Can't wait to go back next time we're in town!
This restaurant is an absolute gem! Best kept secret niceville has to offer! 1st time there sat at the bar and was able to watch them cook everything and they are absolutely some talented chefs! Definitely will be going back to try more items of this amazing menu
Fantastic Italian fare! They have a great menu to offer. I personally recommend the lasagna or cheese ravioli. We love their sauce. It’s a perfect balance of savory and sweet- the best we have found locally. The bread is to die for and the Italian Cream cake and Tiramisu are the best around for hundreds of miles. I only gave them a 4 for atmosphere because it’s noisy in the dining room- but they do offer outside air conditioner seating too. We truly look forward to eating their but be sure to make reservations ahead by calling them. They have limited hours and you MUST have a reservation BUT it’s worth it!!
I have only been to TradeWinds a few times but every time I left satisfied and happy. It has very close seating and some might not enjoy that but its something I like, makes it feel cozy and like you were at a family members house. Portions were generous and of course the food was delicious. Will be going back again soon.
Absolutely wonderful hole in the wall, hidden gem in Valparaiso! Make reservations in advance, it's worth it! The smell when you walk in is intoxicating! The servers are friendly and on top of their jobs. I ordered chicken marsala and my husband ordered pizza. Both our entrees were delicious! Wonderful Italian cuisine!
I don't normally have Italian food out because we make it the way we were raised and it's hard to find anything better. I was with a group that wanted to go so I went. I ordered the "Tom's Pasta" and it was very good. The portions are huge and the bread and olive oil was also top notch. I will probably make a point of going there again the next time I'm in town. (that's high praise)
A wonderful meal. Had a bad experience nearby so called for last minute availability. David answered and let me know there was one table available on the porch, we rushed over. Had incredible service from our server Melody. Great bread, salad, specials, and an anniversary dessert. Saved our special day. Thanks Tradewinds!
