Everything was delicious. We had the Jager Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu, Bierbrats, Saurkraut, Red Cabbage, German Potato Salad, Potato Pancakes, and Potato Croquettes.
Service was wonderful; Em was very attentive.

If you love German food this is so good. We ordered the Schnitzel, Brats, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, Potato Balls, Red Cabbage and Bacon & Onion Home Fries. The portions are huge. Definitely couldn’t finish everything. Everything is homemade including the desserts!! Look at the picture of the German Chocolate Cupcake. Service was great too. I would give higher than 5 Stars but it won’t let me. We will definitely come back.
I wouldn't have my 50th anniversary dinner here but it would be a top option for a Friday night. It has the feel of a family restaurant. I always make a stop here when I am in Niceville.
Small quaint traditional German eatery. This place was so good. The serving sizes were large. The food was traditional German cuisine. The atmosphere inside sets a German experience. The service was amazing even with the place super busy and short staffed. I will be back without a doubt. Thank you for a great dining experience.
Stumbled upon this unique little spot while in Niceville. If you want to try something a little different… then this is the place! The service was great, the food was exceptional and gives you a little taste of German cuisine. You have a wide selection of German dishes. A definite place to give a try!!!

A small, quaint building on the outside. On the inside, very welcoming. Great, authentic food and excellent service. We had the jager schnitzel and thr bierbrats. Also worth mentioning is that they have Bavarian Gaulash soup (picture taken), which is something I have yet to find at ANY German restaurant in the US. Both were excellent! Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, too. We'll definitely be back!
This was a great little surprise to find this restaurant. The spatzel with cheese was wonderful and tasted very homemade. The dumplings were delicious, including the sweet and savory sauce they came with. I love the way this place was decorated-very inviting!
It was our first time trying The Schnitzel Lodge and it immediately became a favorite.
The waitress was friendly and prompt, she also gave great recommendations.
Our food was so good, the potato pancake was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our dinners were huge servings and everything was done perfectly. The Jäger Schnitzel was delicious and creamy and the Schnitzel Madagaskar was the perfect amount of spice. The apple strudel and cinnamon ice cream is an absolute must. The cinnamon ice cream pairs perfectly with the strudel and the strudel tasted just like a New York bakery, it was absolutely perfect.
I can't say enough good things about this place, so glad we found it and looking forward to going back!
Jager Schnitzel was good, spatzel was not. Fresh appetizer bread and butter was delicious. Great service.
Really nice staff and great food. My daughter absolutely loved the traditional dresses the waitresses were wearing. It was as close as I have come to German food since I left Germany many years ago. Not a large venue and it filled up quick.
My brother has talked about this place for some time. I was happy we finally went. I have never had authentic German food or a Schnitzel so I can’t speak for how authentic it is, but I can say the service was outstanding and my first schnitzel experience was delicious! Also we got dessert despite being really full and had a delicious homemade Black Forest cake. Service was excellent. Food came out fresh and fast. There are many items on menu and schnitzel prepared in many different varieties.
Stopped here while visiting town for the weekend. The restaurant was very short staffed and was serving customers for take out or counter service only. Wait times for food were made up by the excellent customer service by the hostess and waitress. Food was also worth the wait. Order some grub, grab a weizen and enjoy the ambiance.

Excellent fare, some of the best I've had since I was in Germany. Great staff. Very attentive. We had pretzels, potato pancakes, leberkase, and kas schpatzle. We left quite satisfied and very happy.
It’s a bit pricey compared to other places, but you will not regret spending the amount given you are given the tables weight in food essentially, great service though you will need to reserve ahead of time! (Both images contain only about half of the food ordered took pictures AFTER starting to enjoy the delicious food) wonderful environment, nice employees, great food. All round best place I’ve been to in a while!
