This place is a really good place for great Mexican food. The decor in this place is something to see. I've been there twice now and it seems like every room has a different theme. The food is outstanding, so much so we drive from Martinsville (110 miles round trip) to eat there. The servers we've had were very nice and prompt with their service. We've always gone on Thursday early, but was told the wait on the weekends could be one to two hours at peak time so I'd try to go when not so busy.i recommend the "Burrito as big as your face". It's awesome!
When you open the doors your eyes will be open wide with excitement and things to come. As we sat down we were blessed with freshly made chip hot out of the fryer and the best digs to gorge yourself on. It was so hard to pick your meal, everything looked so good. When your meal arrives be ready to share because the portions are so large.
Our waiter was the best, he kept the chips coming and the drinks were always fresh and ready. You will love your time at Chuy’s stop buy and make some memories.
It was a great experience that was very friendly people good service good food 🥘 And we want to congratulate the
manager German Rodriguez running such a good environment I definitely recommend this place
We were wanting a good Mexican dinner and that is exactly what we got! We were eating dinner before a concert and for 2 said their was an hour wait. We waited in line for about 15 mins for a bar table to open up. Our server was great! The chips drinks and food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
The server Ray is amazing! Such good food & customer service! The salsa & the ranch are amazing! I will be back for sure. Great place to have a girls night!
It was around 5pm we were seated right away, after our order was taken (the 3 of us) it was only about 6 or 7 min and they had our food done and at the table-Hot fresh and just the way we ordered it :) the service was great and the food was great we have been here a few times but don't live in the area but make a point to eat there if we're driving through. We love Chuys :)
I got the chicken fajitas, which were delicious! For people with low spice tolerance, the pico is pretty spicy, even though it is very good. I ordered some extra sour cream because there was one spoonful for three tacos. Other than that, the meal was delicious. The service was pretty decent and it was extremely busy, which was expected. Overall it was a great experience and I will be going back!
So.. I moved up here from Texas about 12 years ago now. Needless to say, the typical Mexican food options in Indiana leave A LOT to be desired compared to the epic flavors of Tex Mex.
Well, Chuy's here was built at exit 210 and I've rarely looked back. I could eat a steak burrito smothered in boom boom just about every day. Flavor so potent your brain will scream!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five-Star Fiesta at Chuy's! 🌮🎉
I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at Chuy's, and I can't express how amazing the experience was! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with vibrant decor and a lively atmosphere that instantly put me in a festive mood.
Let's talk about the food – oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The menu boasts a tantalizing array of Tex-Mex delights that cater to every palate. From their mouthwatering enchiladas to their sizzling fajitas, every dish was a burst of flavor that danced on my taste buds. The attention to detail and use of fresh ingredients were evident in every bite.
But let's not forget the star of the show – Chuy's famous creamy jalapeno dip! I could write an entire review just about this addictive concoction. It's the perfect balance of heat and creaminess, and it's practically impossible to stop dipping those tortilla chips once you start.
The service was top-notch too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to answer any questions about the menu. They made me feel like a valued guest, and their genuine enthusiasm for the food and the experience was infectious.
Chuy's also gets major points for its commitment to an inviting ambiance. The quirky decor, including the hanging hubcaps and the Elvis shrine, added a unique touch that made the dining experience even more memorable. It's clear that they take pride in creating an environment that is as delightful as the food they serve.
Whether you're a Tex-Mex aficionado or a first-timer, Chuy's is a must-visit. It's the perfect place to celebrate special occasions, catch up with friends over margaritas, or simply satisfy your cravings for delectable and authentic Mexican-inspired cuisine. I can't recommend Chuy's enough – it's a five-star fiesta that will leave you craving for more! 🎊🌮🍹
We love Chuy's food! It's easy for me to get vegan and gluten free meals here. The only issue I've ever had was to accidentally get flour tortillas instead of corn, but that's easy enough to get fixed.
I love the veggie fajitas. They are not on the menu, but they'll make it for you!
Definitely recommend. The SO and I typically don't go during peak times but we've been on several Friday and Saturday evenings before 6pm or after 8pm and have never had to wait. Their bar seating is comfortable with good table service as well. I usually get the deluxe chicken enchiladas but I really like the Elvis Presley Memorial plate as well. SO gets a chimichanga usually, which I'd recommend as well.
We had a great birthday dinner at Chuy’s! The chips are amazing! I absolutely loved my frozen Margarita! And the food was okay! We had asked for no cilantro on the chimichanga but it still had it on there. Their quesadillas are pretty plain (wish they had a not appetizer version)! Our service was great though! She was working really hard out on the patio. We got free churro bites for it being one of our birthdays which was nice too.
Been here a few time before... Went on a busy Saturday nigh this time. Skipped the line by finding a seat at the bar. Bar staff was very attentive and great service. The food is fresh and good. Good drink selection and great margaritas. The queso was yellow cheese not white like we're used to but it was good. Salsa is pretty spicy which I love. Overall a pretty good experience and will keep going back.
Love the atmosphere! The decorations are very unique, and I see something new every time! We are frequent flyers here, and they never disappoint. Food and service are excellent. They have amazing margaritas as well! Also, the t-shirts are hilarious.
Fresh tortillas made daily and Food was delivered quickly and tasted great. Super light Chips and two types of dip/salsa were worth coming for alone! Parking can be a small walk at peak times
I’m not sold after my 2nd visit. The food is good, but beyond that I am not sure why people swear by this place. The Guacamole was excellent, queso+beef was excellent, salsa perfect, spicy ranch sauce good, and the chips awesome. Now to the course, steak burrito was just okay. I was pleasantly surprised with appetizers but the contents in my burrito was lack luster. Some sour cream, tomato’s, onion, or something else else beside bean, cheese, and steak would have landed you a 5 star review. Staff friendly, clean, and no wait. Waitress Lauren C was on it. I’ll give it a 3rd try with some friends and try something else
Great restaurant. The pregame chips and spicy ranch dip are awesome. The reason for a 4 star rather than 5 is portion size. Heaping meals are not awesome. A little look into what makes a great meal and the right portion would turn good to great. I don’t want to leave feeling so stuffed I’m uncomfortable. I want to know I had the right amount of great food. Your stomach is the size of your fist. If you match a bit closer the serving size to the receptacle size, you win.
This was my first time here. The wait staff was amazing and super helpful. The decorations and atmosphere were super unique and fun. The food was very good. I would definitely recommend trying!
First time there and not too bad. I had beef burrito with queso on top. Wife had chicken but didn't care for the sauce. Service was awesome!!
Good environment they were able to accommodate 8 people easily with no wait at 6pm on a Sunday. Queso was not like I’ve had before I’m used to white queso but this is texmex so it made sense lots of age ranges there service was great. Food came out hot & quick & server checked on us often & didn’t seem to mind that we stayed & chatted for a little bit after finishing up our food. It was a good experience
Chuy's always appears busy, yet the service is still friendly and relatively quick. I recommend the Chuychanga with Boom-Boom sauce.
My first experience at Chuy's was 10 years ago when I lived in Florida. Recently, I had the pleasure of returning. My family had never been before and they were not disappointed and neither was I. I talked a good game and was hoping it was like I remembered and it definitely was! They absolutely loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Earl, in the bar area, was the sweetest. Will return a lot!
Sauces are delicious and compliment the very flavorful food! Drinks were also great! Will definitely be back
