Such a good atmosphere and the best server we could have asked for! We wanted to relax for a few minutes after seeing a show and ended up staying an hour enjoying food and wine. Our server (Brian) was absolutely amazing! Even though it was late he acted like we were his first customers of the night. When we asked for dessert he suggested the cheese cake. It was out of this world! Seriously! There was no doubt that it was made in house. In all my years of dining out I have never had a server thank me for the tip I gave them. If you have a chance to go, you will not be disappointed! For this restaurant not even being open a year, you would not have been able to tell! It was run so smoothly and had a feeling like no other!

My dad, husband and I went last night at 5:30 and was told we wouldn’t be seated until 8:15 unless something became available at the bar. I turned around to leave but the hostess went to the bar area and called us over to an empty table. Our server was Andrew and he took wonderful care of us. We had truffle fries, the classic poke bowl and oysters as appetizers. My poke was awesome! I stole a few of my husbands fries and they were equally as delightful. My dad said his James River oysters were awesome as well. For dinner my dad and I got the filet and my husband got he ultimate crab cake. The filet comes out on a wood platter with a stone that must be 400 degrees. Luckily I like my steaks well done as it continued to cook the entirety of our meal. My dad picked his up and asked for a plate because he wanted his medium and it would’ve kept cooking. My husband said the crab cakes were the best he’s ever had. I had the Audible Sigh cocktail and it was amazing. Much smaller than I anticipated for $13 but it was one of the tastiest cocktails I’ve ever had. My dad had the Vida Bandida and he said he wouldn’t get it again. Their beer list isn’t very extensive so I would stick to something else if you are a big craft beer person. Honestly I had only heard bad about this restaurant in regards to the service and attentiveness of the staff, but our server was awesome. I definitely want to go back!

Loved it! Great food and ambiance...great crowd. Especially loved our server, Kathryn! Perfect server- attentive and accommodating without being overly solicitous. She was never without a smile and made a good evening great. Will be back again and again. Hope we get Kathryn every time.

Holy moly! I was here 3 days and ate here 4 times! Everything is good! My favorite is the lobster roll with the she-crab soup. The soft shell crab was excellent! The surf and turf was incredible. The honey butter is to die for! The staff is extremely helpful given I had my 10 month old in tow. Love this place and so glad it’s part of Hilton. This restaurant breaks the stigma of hotel food once and for all for me!!!

went to Saltine for the first time with coworkers to try their lunch menu. this place has so many options it was hard to choose. i went with the blackened fish tacos, my server informed me they use tuna in thier tacos which made it perfe. our server Alissa was great and even the manager, Trudy, checked in on us and both were very pleasant.

Tried Saltine the other night, and was very happy with my service. Originally I ordered the Tuna, but decided I didn’t like it very much. Alissa was on top of it and helped me choose another entree that I was much happier with, and the chefs cooked it to perfection and it was brought out quickly (I decided on the fresh catch Bronzini with the Bronzed seasoning, definitely recommend). The manager,Nick, checked on us after Alissa made sure everything was to our liking. Everyone was great, the food was great, thank you!

Hands down, best Seafood in Norfolk! There isn’t a thing on this menu I wouldn’t devour; Looking forward to many more trips. The staff is super knowledgeable and extremely courteous! A must try for any ardent lover of cuisine fresh from the sea!

I️ had dinner Saturday lunch with my friends. Our server was Ashleigh and she was amazing. She was nice and informative. Trudy the supervisor came by twice throughout or meal to make sure we enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was great and food was excellent. I️ will recommend this place to anyone in the area. We will be back soon.

Bruce Green was our waiter, and he was amazingly accommodating to all of our needs. He made great suggestions, I actually ended going with the Duck breast dish he recommended. He even took the time to make the chocolate egg desert. Fucking amazing!

Best seafood joint in Norfolk, no doubt. The cocktail list is a creative experience, that always impresses. The service is warm and friendly and the atmosphere is sophisticated, making this restaurant a go to spot for me!

Very good food, excellent service all around. The She Crab soup and shrimp and grits were awesome. Christi was a superb server, very kind and polite and well versed in the menu. She made very good suggestions for us. Everyone, when in downtown Norfolk, should check out this restaurant.

Top notch head chef Brent Cowan & master mixologist josh Seaburg do not disappoint! The fresh seafood selections are amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
