The best item they have is french fries with garlic sauce on the side. It's incredible.

I've been a regular yummy walk customer for a long time and the food is always good and inexpensive with large portions compared to some other places. The Szechuan chicken or tofu is delicious and the mixed vegetables with garlic sauce is another favorite. The dumplings (fried or steamed) are a great appetizer. The only problem I have had there is the general tso sauce is not spicy at all. You have to ask for it to be extra, extra spicy if you want it to have a kick... But that is a problem with nearly every asian restaurant in this part of the country.
I'll be back.. I had a very good lunch from here recently. We were swamped at work and called in an order which one of the crew picked up. Having not eaten here before I went with a basic dish, Beef & Broccoli. I was pleasantly surprised with the portion received and enjoyed it a great deal. On the flip side the pork egg roll wasn't so hot. It was the frozen variety, who's aren't, and had a funny taste to it. I hope it wasn't dog. ;)
All in all it was a good meal and I'll definitely be trying them out again.
I started ordering from Yummy Wok when another local Chinese delivery place had some kind of melt down. I am very glad that I made the switch. The food is just great, with steamed specials that I just love. Delivery rarely takes longer than 30 minutes and everybody there is friendly and courteous. What more could you ask?
The food here is consistent and affordable. As far as Chinese take out goes this place is reliable, clean and tasty.
Surprised. Ironic how I came across this place. I went to Ghent for Chipotle, but while circling for parking I saw Yummy Wok and a handful of YUPPIES inside the joint. I parked and could smell chinese food. I quickly changed course and walked to the Yummy Wok. I grabbed a menu and sat down on one of four chairs along side its wall. I was pleased to see on the cover of the menu, "Authentic Chinese Food - No MSG". I order shrimp with broccoli and asked for snow peas to be added. My food was SUPERB. The veggies were crisp and the shrimp was fresh. I went back a third time and ordered Szechuan chicken which was good, but not spicy enough. Went back another day and ordered the same, but requested the spice to be kicked up a bit. No language barrier - fast, very clean, and good. I'll be back when I return from Miami.
I love Yummy Wok.. Me and my friends eat here almost weekly, they have the best tofu in Ghent. I highly recommend them.
Do it! Place the order! Appetizing Chinese food from a clean restaurant was hard to find until we found Yummy Wok. My boyfriend and I got a few things last weekend: General Tsos chicken w pork friend rice, pepper steak with fried rice, crab Rangoon and wonton soup. When I say everything was excellent, I mean everything! When my boyfriend went to pick it up he said he even saw the cooks cleaning as they cooked. Five stars! We will be back!
Sunday, June 5th: 11:00pm: I was a loyal Kin's Wok (Ghent) customer until 2019, but after eating Yummy Wok at a business event I had to switch over. Personally, the deciding factor was the dumplings, which have always been a cornerstone of my order and are far more flavorful at Yummy Wok. I also prefer their poultry dishes over Kin's Wok. Other than that, the food is comparable between these two restaurants, though Yummy Wok now has better prices as Kin's Wokchas recently (2021) increased their prices. If you're planning on delivery, Yummy Wok seems to have a few more drivers in their line up which helps out with delivery time. I highly suggest you give this family run Chinese Food restaurant a try, it just may become you new favorite spot.

Tried the general TSO and the spicy beef. Both came with nice portions, hot and tasty. Also the service is pretty quick.
The last time I was complaining about there being only 6 shrimp in the rice and shrimp. Also the beef tasted funky but not anymore.
DANGGGGG, looked at the reviews cause I didn't wanna drive far from ODU, found this, got the beef n broccoli and general tso's and just wanna say wow the portions are great and the food taste amazing! 5/5, amazing, fast, and fresh!
Couldn’t find orange chicken on the menu but they made it. Probably best I have ever had. Been back twice to get it again and again.
