Review Athenian Fresh Grill - North Arlington

Fresh food! Got the Felafel w/ (‘Ancient’ Grain of the Day), Red Feta Sauce, Feta Cheese (crumble), Tomatoes, Cucumbers, & (Seasonal) Veggies. Absolutely AMAZING! Great portion, great flavor. The price was a bit high, but for fresh veggies, def cannot complain, at all! Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for fresh food and also healthy eating! Will absolutely be ordering from Athenian Fresh Grill again!!

I ordered 2 salads consisting of the same ingredients to be delivered via Uber Eats. The delivered salads were not the same. Both were supposed to have grilled chicken and feta, along with the other veggie ingredients. Both salads had all the veggies requested. One salad included the requested feta and the other salad included the requested chicken. Neither salad was exactly what I ordered. After reading the reviews, I believe Athenian Fresh Grill is ripping off customers who order through the delivery services. If they don't add requested ingredients, they still get paid and they get to keep the ingredients. Feeling like a fraudulent business strategy... Update: Really nice of the business to reply, but their reply missed the entire point! My post specifically stated that chicken, which was an added expense, was missing from my order, not tomato or cucumber. I was missing an item that I paid extra to obtain.

I have been lucky enough to go to this place several times and also ordered at Uber eat, I think I can define myself as addicted to the healthy salads that this place has and the staff is extremely attentive, I love😋 it those salad 🥗 they make me feel that I am alive and that I can eat healthy with little money. the lentil 🍲 soup is delicious, the authentic Greek yogurt with 🍯 honey and walnuts...

food tastes good but my container wasnt even full. greens on only half the container and barely anything in the other half. behind the peppers (veggies) is a huge scoop of tzatziki which was way too much and ended up saturating the little bit of greens i actually had. not worth $16. and they didnt even put the red sauce i asked for. wont be returning.

The food and service here is great. The owner gave us baklava on the house when he found out we were out celebrating our friend's birthday. I personally prefer the chicken over the lamb, but overall everything was good and it tasted very healthy. The fries were the best part. I normally don't like my fries thick, but these were pretty good and seasoned well.

THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST GREEK RESTAURANT I’VE EVER HAD TO EAT FROM. NOT ONLY ARE THE EMPLOYEES SLOPPY BUT THE FOOD IS ALSO. LOOKS LIKE PRISON FOOD. HOW DOES THIS HAVE A 4.3 RATING?! IM NOT EVEN GREEK AND IM EMBARRASSED!!!!!! FIRE EVERYONE!!! GET THIS OWNER OUT OF THIS TOWN AND REPLACE WITH A COMPETENT OWNER WHOSE GOING TO SERVE GOOD QUALITY FOOD!!!! *SIDE NOTE* EVERY EMPLOYEE IN THERE NEEDS TO TAKE A SHOWER, DO THEIR LAUNDRY, MAKE THEIR BEDS, BRUSH THEIR TEETH AND GET THEIR LIFE TOGETHER!!!!!!

I ordered from this spot for lunch and was looking forward to trying it. I ordered for delivery and everything was on time and it wasn't too expensive. I ordered the falafel platter with fries and rice. When I got in I dug in and it was pretty good. I wasn't feeling the tahini sauce too much, it was a bit bitter. The tzatziki sauce on the other hand was pretty good. The falafel was a tad dry but was still tasty. All in all I had a good experience.

This is really fresh and delicious! I will definitely order again. It came looking well presented. Well packaged and fast delivery. The fish is crispy and well flavored. I ordered on doordash. I recommend supporting this small business!
