I have to say that tonight was a fantastic night. We had a party of almost 30. I had called an hour prior had our name on the list for 6 pm and we were all seated by 630. Our two waitress were awesome. They were on top of everything. I know they had other tables but they took care of us. Only 1 small hiccup on an order but they took care of it within minutes.
But my main reason for the 5 star is that I have a 10 year old with Celiac Disease. Their menu is awesome. There was not much that she couldnt have for dinner. And they made sure the staff knew she had allergies to gluten as well. Knowing know that she can eat so much their we will diffently be back. So thank you for having a great variety of gluten free food.
The best food I have had in quite a while, the service was outstanding! As soon as we ordered our appetizers they were at our table within a couple minutes, our main dish was brought to us not long after we finished our appetizers, our waitress was very polite and helpful, even the manager was very polite even tho we stopped him from helping his staff to tell him we would be coming back again!
The brisket was great!!! I am from Cincinnati and live in Pawleys Island, SC...again the brisket and greens are the best I have had and will drive to Charleston for the brisket!
Best bbq I’ve found so far in sc. service was excellent, waitress was quick with refills and getting are orders to the table. I highly recommend them.
We were driving to the airport and had some time to spare. We decided to stop for dinner. The staff was very polite and the food was excellent!! We will be going back when we are back in Charleston!! I highly recommend eating here!!
So good and soooo much food!!! There's no way anyone could finish the entire plate, is there??? I sure tried my best, though!!! Yummmmm!!! The brisket, the hit links, the mac n cheese and the collards were incredible!!!
Great BBQ.Had the BBQ sandwich Carolina style. I love the vinegar base but his was a little heavy on the vinegar sauce but still very very good.
Food was full of flavor, prompt service. I had the brisket sandwich and it was amazing.
Ate at Jim N Nicks today for the first time. Service was pretty good for Sunday dinner. I had the smoked chicken plate with Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The Mac n cheese was outstanding and the chicken was smoked perfectly it was coming right off the bone very juicy!
First time with Carolina Bork but it was excellent as well as the chicken. Great flavor and too much food. You won't go away hungry.
Great food. A glitch was made with my order, but the manager and whole staff was very apologetic and friendly. They went above and beyond to resolve the issue!!
Came in on a Monday night for dinner. The service was excellent. Drinks, corn muffins, apps,and dinner all came out in a timely manner. My sweet tea was perfect .(some would say too sweet) The muffins were cooked just right. Its got a cornbread sweet taste to it. The chicken wings were perfect nice and juicy but had a little crunchy skin on the outside. I choose the dry rub with the white sauce on the side. The white sauce is like a peppery horseradish taste to it. The ribs were cooked perfect with a smoke ring on them. The Macaroni and cheese to me reminded me of Stouffer's macaroni and cheese with some extra shredded cheese on top was not a big fan of it but really came for the ribs. The French fries were just French fries nothing bad or nothing good about them. My meal came out to be around $32 it was well worth it in my opinion if in the area and want some pretty good barbecue definitely give this place a try
I'd heard of this place before, but never took time to actually go and then a few days ago one of my co-worker's treated me and now I'm a fan! We went there, again, today. The food itself is VERY generous with the size for the money (which is very reasonable) and you WILL get full! And it's fresh and hot with delicious flavoring. PLEASE try the Piggy Potato, cheese biscuits and their macaroni and cheese! The service that I've experienced so far is polite; the crew is nice and the timeliness is decent for an often busy place. Nothing bad to say about that now and hopefully never. I will make sure to go back!
Everything was good besides the brisket. I always get the brisket when I go here but the last 2 times it hasn't been like it used. To. Was very fatty. I also get the ribs alot normally the baby backs but the waitress goofed and brought me St Louis style still ate. Them and they were good just not as good as the baby backs lol. I'll be back for sure can't go wrong with the cheddar biscuits
Jim 'N Nick's is my favorite BBQ place, food is always delicious and staff is always friendly. We usually eat in but I'm home bound from surgery and have been craving their food. I called to order take out and had the Pleasure of having my order taken by Ms. Monica Jones, she was the sweetest, person I've spoken with as far as take out goes and very patient with me. I didn't realize she had had a horrible day with rude people and she didn't feel well at all, I would've Never known. When my husband got home there was hand written on outside of our bag "Thank you for being so sweet" and on the 2 desserts she sent as a thank you to me!!! Who does that? Monica made my night and made me feel wonderful with her kindness. Jim 'N Nicks you're lucky to have Monica on your staff. I'll be back soon!

Meat across the board was wonderful! Turkey and pork were both fantastic. Just as an FYI, they don't have a sweet BBQ sauce (kids noted that, but their white sauce was amazing)! Service was good and we were honored by their military discount ... We don't take that for granted ... Thank you! Definitely a full menu and had something for everyone. We will be back.
I highly recommend this BBQ place. Their meats melt in your mouth, their biscuits are delicious and the staff is super friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to our server, Brianna, she is amazing.
