I had my birthday lunch there and our server Preston was the only server. He did a phenomenal job of keeping everything going and gave us excellent service.
We had the breaded eggplant sandwich and it was art on the plate. The flavors were delicious. Shared a cannoli for dessert that was scrumptious.
The only suggestion I have is to correct the price of the cannoli on the dessert menu to reflect what you actually charge for it.
Italian lovers!!,
New MUST TRY restaurant !!!!!!
Fratellos Italian Tavern on East Montague
North Charleston
First, I loved the decor!! Very nice!
And even though the restaurant looked fancy inside everyone was dressed pretty casual.....I went at lunch so it might be different at dinner.
I loved that I could run around to all my favorite thrift store haunts and have a fabulous lunch with my friend.
We were greeted promptly and friendly and seated at a comfortable table and brought silverware in crisp linen napkins warm Italian bread with cheese and olive oil. Very nice!!
Our food came pretty darn fast.
I had eggplant rollatini with angel hair pasta and it was fantastic!!
My friend had lobster ravioli and she loved hers as well.
I ordered creme brûlée and coffee for dessert.
This was the best creme brûlée I've had in this area.
Superb!!!
The ladies room was pristine and they even had a lovely sugar scrub by the sink. So I know they love me.
We will definitely keep this great restaurants on our list of terrific places to go!!!!!
Thanks so much for the great time!!!

We had my daughter’s wedding dinner here last night. The dinner and appetizers were excellent and the staff worked very hard to ensure everyone had a good time. I cannot say enough good things about our dinner. We have eaten here many times since it opened and the food and service is always excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Anyone interested in real freshly made real Italian food, this place is a must! You won't find Pizza here. But you will find fresh made pasta and cooked to order Italian cuisine that will leave you wanting more!
Excellent lunch with girlfriends on St. Paddy's Day. Yes........Italian on an Irish holiday. Had the Fratellos Salad (had fresh figs!) with chicken and an amazing Blood Orange Vinaigrette. Carlos, our server, was very friendly and an excellent server as well. Manager was extremely personable and friendly and sent desserts to our table at no charge which were all magnificent! Will be back.........most likely again and again!
The food and the service were amazing!!! We will definitely be back next time we’re in town! I highly recommend the manicotti! Absolutely delicious!
Really enjoyed our visit for lunch. Got the special of the day, shrimp with gnocchi. It should be a regular on the menu. Very fresh and yummy. Dessert was also good. Service was excellent. Would definitely return for lunch or dinner.
Had my birthday dinner the food and service was wonderful the Chicken Catattori is the absolute best ever
Great service, great food, and overall pleasant dining atmosphere. Would make this our "go to" place to dine on visits to the low country.

This was my first visit and I was with a large group. The food was amazing as was the service! The waitress was also a great photographer!😀
This charming Italian Tavern offers a delightful blend of authenticity and innovation. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance. The attentive staff ensures a memorable dining experience. Portions are generous, making it perfect for sharing with friends or savoring alone. Don't miss the chance to experience this Italian masterpiece in the heart of Parks Circle.
A nice evening at Fratello’s. Muscles as an app were good and the bread was OK. Nice wine selection. The Spaghetti was very good, hearty and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The Chicken Parmesana was voted a 10+!!!! Our server was absolutely the best! The Lemonchello Crem Brûlée was sooo good! Thanks for the photo op.
Love dining in or take out. Amazing food with authentic flavors, a must go to. Perfect for a date night, just make an appointment 1st.
Had so much delicious food last night at Fratello’s Tavern! The calamari was so crisp and the red sauce with it so fresh. Mussels in garlic sauce was so good that we held onto the leftover sauce to dip bread into…spaghetti and meatballs, the pasta Al dente and the meatballs authentically huge. Caesar salad came w requested anchovies and croutons homemade…ok, everything just great. Really good bottle of Italian rose too!
Great value for excellent food and service. Go there! Beats downtown Italian fare. Reminds me of family trattorias in Italy.
Dianna was an absolute pleasure and made our experience that more worthwhile. She recommended the perfect menu items and highlighted some amazing cocktail specials that she created. We had a wonderful time and credit so much of that to Dianna. The food was fantastic as well! 10/10
We had the pleasure of dining at Fratellos Italian restaurant and it was an absolutely amazing experience! We cannot recommend this restaurant enough - the food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch.
Let's start with the star of the show: the Chicken Parm. It was simply outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender, the breading was crispy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Every bite was a true delight, and we could tell that it was made with care and attention to detail.
The Spaghetti and Meatballs were fantastic as well. The meatballs were juicy and flavorful, and the sauce was delicious and well-seasoned.
Last but certainly not least, the Fettuccine Alfredo was wonderful. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was creamy, smooth, and decadent. The dish was perfectly balanced and not too heavy, which was a pleasant surprise.
The service at Fratellos was exceptional - The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home.
Overall, we had an incredible experience at Fratellos Italian restaurant. If you're looking for delicious Italian cuisine, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere, look no further than Fratellos!
The antipasto is wonderful! It’s the reason I came here. The staff go above and beyond expectations to take care of you. I look forward to trying different cocktails and dessert next time. The atmosphere feels pretty cozy. This place is a new favorite of mine.
Come hungry! The food was excellent and the potions were large. We split the chicken parmigiana and enjoyed it. That left enough room for dessert. Our server recommended the cheesecake and it did not disappoint.
I don't know how they do their shrimp but it's perfect. Got the shrimp pomodoro and was immediately tempted to get a second helping. Richard was very welcoming and efficient as my server. Don't know if it's my place to say though, the acoustics could use a little work. Several servers on the floor needed to speak fairly loudly just to communicate with their tables. Even mine, and I was just a party of one. Besides that, definitely bringing the family next time. Probably just one a slower night 😅
Our waitress Emauni was great, she was helpful in picking a course and new what she was talking about.
Calamari starter was a little chewy but tasted good. My main course was very good, but the dessert was Fabulous!
Would recommend!
My husband and I have been going for years, and every time we go, the food has been amazing! I highly recommend John the waiter because he has always taken care of us and made our time at the restaurant memorable. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were for our large family and how they went out of their way to make our get together special. If you want Italian or are looking for a nice place to take family or that special someone, this is the place to go!
Whoa boy, I had never heard of this place until my birthday. It came up on Maps and we thought, let's go for it. The restaurant is a nice little place on a nice little road in North Charleston. The food here is exquisite. I had the Chicken Parm and holy cow, do they give you some chicken. The desserts were beautiful and delicious as well. Fantastic tiramisu! The dessert martini was also fun. The service here was top-notch and I never felt like I wasn't being taken care of. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is also wonderful. If you're in the mood for some good Italian, make your next stop at Fratello's!
The food is wonderful, the service is always great! Wait time is never long either—plates come out quickly. Good atmosphere.
Decided to dine here last minute, as the place we were going to go was closed. We were greeted warmly. We did not have a reservation, was told it could be a bit of a wait. However, he did get us seated almost immediately. Our waiter was pleasant and enthusiastic. A good sign that he was proud of the food and offerings of the establishment. He did tend to ignore me and one son focusing more on the older son and his wife. She ended up having to order my cocktail after he had already brought them their wine. And still hadn't asked the rest of us. The food was phenomenal. We ordered three appetizers. Stuffed mushrooms, Pomodoro Mozzarella, Salsicce Pane. Our entrees were Lasagna, the house ravioli Chicken Piccatta, and Penne Alle Vodka. Desserts were Creme Brule, Tiramisu, and chocolate cake.
Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff.
My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious! I’m usually really picky with red sauces and I loved this one. I wanted to trade because my fettuccine Alfredo was just okay. The bread was so good I just wish they gave a dipping oil for it.
Food is incredible! However, service wasn't great. Server didn't check on our table once during our meal, even though I watched them visit another table multiple times. We also waited 10-15 min for more water.
It waz pretty good all around, good portion size, traditional lasagna 4.4,very reasonable prices.
3 of us went here after there being a long wait at a nearby restaurant. There was only 1 waitress working the whole floor and bar, so luckily it wasn't too busy, but still. Obviously, service is going to suffer. The drinks were decent, the food was good, although my son got sick a few hours later after eating the clam dish. The desserts were the best thing about the place. We ordered 2 and they got 1 incorrect. It was delicious, so we said no big deal, but they still ended up bringing us the other one. So we tried 3 desserts, and they were all amazing.
