My wife and I went to the Goose Creek Fall Festival and smelled the delicious food cooking at Chucktown Mobile Seafood. We ordered the Shrimp Basket with 1/2 fries and 1/2 hush puppies for our basket and enjoyed everything. Some of the BEST seafood and sides we have had.We especially enjoyed meeting the chef. Wishing him continued success and blessings! -Brad & Beth Surovec

AWESOME!! Chef FRYDADDIE KEVIN & his wonderful staff served up great Shrimp, Fish, Oysters and ~ FRIES!! Seasoned to perfection!. After personally Blessing our food and our Class Reunion Social, oysters hit the table first and were gone as fast as that! He kept them coming, and we kept them going. Everyone was courteous and served every dish to us , all gloved up and sanitary. Yes, they have your safety in mind still. EXCELLENTLY DONE!!

Ordered during the 2022 Charleston Air show and we enjoyed the food very much. The three of us enjoyed the "sampler" order that was provided. The employees were very cordial and courteous despite the long lines and hungry customers. Great job!

Today was my first time trying their food. Their food is amazing! The spices is on point. My favorite is the fried oyster and the Mac cheese. I love their homemade sauce. Customer service is very professional, I love the vibe! They welcome you like family!

Went for all you can eat oysters. Amazing people, amazing owner and staff! Very down to earth, reminded me of the old days. The crowd that was attracted, the food, the atmosphere. Everything was just so nice. If you have not tried this business yet, you are missing out.

Excellent, affordable food; super friendly service; and veteran owned.  This is exactly the kind of small business that deserves some extra love and support during this pandemic.  I stopped here with my parents after visiting the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.  They ordered catfish and shrimp with collard greens and mac and cheese and loved every bite. I only ordered fries, but when the owner Kevin heard that I'm vegan, he rushed back to the kitchen to see what else he could serve me.  A few minutes later, I had a piping hot basket of delicious corn-filled hush puppies.  Not only did Kevin refuse to charge us for the hush puppies, he also gave us a 15% military discount when he saw that my dad is a fellow veteran.  Do yourself a favor and give this place a try and send some business Kevin's way.

Loved every bit! Friendly guest service as well. I had the basket with whiting and shrimp. Seasoned as if my uncle made it! Mac and cheese was also really good and I do not eat everyone’s Mac and cheese!

Delicious food, clean cafe. The shrimp po'boys and okra were amazing and perfectly seasoned. The owner even gave us recommendations and came out to ask what we thought. Well worth the cab ride across town! I will definitely be back next time we are in Charleston.

Gotta say it. When I first saw it I was bewildered. I was not even sure it was open. There was no one parked in front and it was maybe 1:30 pm. But, here we were, a mile from the hotel, and hungry. Do we dare? Now, you have know two things before you go to this place. 1) Be prepared to see a building that is probably like 20 ft x 20 ft, barely noticeable as a building. We actually drove past it trying to find it. 2) The total number of seats was 8 so be prepared to eat in your vehicle. BUT, it is worth it. The menu is simple, but these folks are super nice and super good cooks. I had a fried shrimp and scallops combo. Although the scallops were a bit smallish, the shrimp were much bigger than popcorn shrimp and maybe closer to gulf sized. We also ordered a 3 crab meal for $11 that had an amazing sauce poured over them that had a touch of garlic in it. They did the hard work by taking the outer shell off, but we still had to crack the legs open and finger through the body for morsels of it. These were not large crabs, but a good value and really tasty. BTW: most of their business is catering, so that explains the smallish eating area.

Fantastic food and decent prices. What really made my day is the incredible staff. Not only were the staff friendly and understanding but they were willing to help with myself being new to the area. On top of all of this the owner is military friendly and he gave me 10 percent off just for being in the military! 10 out of 10 would recommend!
