Larry knows how to build a sub. Went in here because the place looked honestly a little silly from the sign incorporating in a giant ape. On the inside it's pretty much what I expected. A NY modeled deli sub shop with some dates movie posters and a giant gorilla head and hands on the wall. The sub itself consisted of fresh cut deli meat and cheese and fresh toasted bread and topping to match. Honestly about what you expect. They seem to be more focused on hot subs but have something for everyone one to include cold subs, salads, and gyros. The service was extra friendly, the bathrooms were clean and they seemed to have a fair amount of loyal customers, as would be expected from a modest place such as this that has a fair amount of personality.
Had the Big Italian Sub and it was better than expected. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful. Their pricing is very reasonable as well. I would recomend them to my friends.
Decor is a little outdated yet from someone else's perspective it could be aesthetically pleasing resembling older more unique sandwich shops. Love the many options of sandwiches here, can get anything from a club, to a gyro, to egg salad, and they also have soups to pair with the food as well. If you want you can also order meat here in bulk, once got a pound of gyro meat and tzatziki sauce. The staff is very accommodating
Had to wait 20 minutes for my sandwich. Was decently busy for lunch with only 2 people working.
Sandwich was good. Plenty of meat and toppings.
Loved it. Had a foot long on gluten free bread done just the way I like it. Great staff and service.
Kong Club and Big Boss (I think) are crazy good. I always request extra peppers.
The service is always great and it's always clean.
Staff was slim for lunch hour so it took a little bit to get our food. Good food but a little pricey.
It's easy to miss, but definitely a delicious and fairly affordable experience. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
The food is always great, everything is made perfectly and the staff is awesome!! Well worth the trip every time!!
By far the best sub shop with gluten free options and all natural ingredients not to mention a very friendly staff.
Never had a better fresh sub for the price. My sub for to when they are open. Hours are very limited for the N. Chas location.
Best Philly in N Charleston!!! They also have Gluten Free bread that is to die for!
Used to have the best rueban ever. Not enough meat last few times. Still "good" tho.
The food was delicious. Makes you think you are in New York at a neighborhood deli.
Great customer service, outstanding subs. The best in Charleston! Would definitely recommend
Awesome sandwiches. The owner was a swell fella with great hair
