I researched a few places and the reviews for this place seemed to ding them for service and not the quality of the food which is the most important aspect for me. I normally tip at least 10% anyway for takeout so I wasn’t worried tbh.
The food was really good and the service wasn’t anything to write home about. She didn’t respond when I said thank you or acknowledge me when I walked in, but it’s takeout. I ordered the large order of orange chicken with house fried rice and it was excellent. I would recommend this place, just go in with proper expectations of the other reviews regarding service.
My husband stopped here to get dinner. He had eaten here before but it was a first for me. He loves the Happy Family. I had the shrimp🍤 and broccoli 🥦 and it was good. Our food was $32 total with tax so it wasn't priced too high. I will eat here again. Oan: I placed the order over the phone and the order taker was very pleasant. I forgot to take the pics at first so they were taken after we had already started eating.

I grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan near Chinatown. This is by far the closest taste to Chinese Food Back home. Try the Sesame Chicken!! Delicious!
Just found this menu on the top of my refrigerator and thought I would try it. I'm so glad I did. I had the hibachi chicken and the cheese wontons. It was the best meal I have had in a long time. Lots of food and delicious flavor. I will definitely be ordering from them again!!

This is my favorite Asian takeout place! I always get delivery and when I order over the phone I always receive great customer service. Even ordering online is quick and easy! My food is always hot and fresh when it’s delivered and it’s a plus that the delivery driver is always super nice! Being new to this area, I’m really glad I could find a great place that serves great food!
First time I ordered fot delivery and won't be the last time. The food was still so hot and delicious. This is my only place i will order from now on. Hopefully it will remain that way. Ty guys
The Thai Basil dish was delicious! I ordered mine with beef. Crab wontons were also very tasty. Will definitely order the Thai Basil again.

In 2 years of ordering, only had one small issue where one of dishes tasted different. When I called, they recognized are name, and when I brought to their attention, they did note they had a new cook that evening, apologized, but assured me the other cook would be back, and made things right with our order for our next order delivery. Definitely, customer focused.

Went online and placed an order for delivery. Food was delivered in time frame that was posted online.
Order was correct. Food was hot and fresh. Family tried four different dishes and all were delicious. Will be placing another order soon to try the rest of there menu. I read a lot of reviews before trying this place. Seems like the local guides have this one rated pretty good. Be careful of any one star one review people ( on any site review )on there reviews. There usually the one person in every group that was born just to complain.

I was so ready to write a bad review just the other night because after spending $93 to feed a crowd there was a mix up with my order....simple miss understanding. I called them to explain, and the conversation ended with me just wanting a refund (at that moment I was not happy). Nevertheless, I returned to the store with the wrong order just wanting my money back, however, they had the correct order ready for me even though I explained it wasn't necessary and the refund.
Can't speak for delivery but ordering on Chownow for pick up works without a hitch. Now whatever Chinese/Japanese takeout spot you've been ordering from previously stop and start getting your food from here. I've ordered twice now and so far the food is consistent with taste and quality. The Chinese tastes fresher, and flavorful compared to the other takeout spots. Seriously try this place out and it'll surprise you just how better the Chinese food is. Now on to the Japanese Hibachi. Tsunami's is just down the road and while I won't go as far as saying this place is better but for a takeout spot it comes very close. Hibachi taste fresh and the portions are big and the sushi is on the same level. They even give you a lot of white sauce unlike other takeout places that only give you one of those small little sauce containers that of course is never enough. If the quality remains the same this will continue to be my go to neighborhood Chinese/Japanese spot.
Excellent food, the best takeout I have found in the area so far. There was a mix up with our order, and they were very eager to send out the correct order. I can't fault them for that. Mistakes happen, it's all in how you rectify them. And this place gets 5 stars for sure.
Good food, fast delivery. We love Asian Gourmet. The ChowNow ordering is fast and convenient. Unfortunately I’m don’t think the “add-ons” are worth the price. We ordered 2 meals with shrimp add-on at $3 each and got a total of 4 shrimp. Also paid an extra $2 for pork fried rice and got steamed rice instead. Not very happy with that but the food is good, we ordered tonight because we are all sick and don’t want to get out of the house.
