Basil Thai Restaurant - North Charleston - Photo album

The atmosphere was elegant and upscale. The service was warm and inviting. Our waitress was attentive to us during dinner. For our appetizer, we ate the stuff shrimp which were really delicious. Unfortunately, dinner was not a "wow". I ate Basil Shrimp and I felt like the shrimp were not fresh caugh
I enjoyed my experience. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was different and tasty. I was disappointed that the hours of operations are short. The bathroom was clean. It was a beautiful experience. I encourage you to visit and see Jah (I think that is the correct spelling). If not,
It’s a popular spot so if you decide to come, do so at your earliest convenience! The alcoholic beverages were great! I love it when the alcohol is subtle and not overwhelming. The wontons as appetizers were delicious. The chicken Masaman curry was absolutely incredible!! The heat level was mild and
Yasmine our server was amazing her warm smile to greet us , her attention on the table was to the point whether its bring cold glass for beer , refilling my wife’s drink!! And not to forget she had tables outside as well But the best part was i wanted to have basil chk fried rice and she even did
My one and only go to meal at Basil. Love it very much.
We happened to bump into this place as we were walking around this cool neighborhood. The ambience is just classic and when u see it, you feel like going in. The food is equally amazing and the Tom Kha soup was simply the best. We ended our dinner with fried ice cream:)
The food was okay but the service was even better. The location is great and the atmosphere was great. Pad Thai is what I ordered. I also tried to order Saki but they didn't have the machine to warm it up 😞
One of the best places to eat! Try the Red Curry, Pad Thai and definitely the Basil Rolls! You will love them!!
The food is always great here! Shout out to the bartender Nick M for outstanding service, he went above and beyond and was very knowledgeable! Thank you Nick! 93
Basil Thai elevates Charleston's already top notch Restaurant reputation even higher. 1st, the bar is nice but not overwhelming. Good presentation and stiff enough. Food is where this place takes flight. Scrumptious variety of Pad Thai. Gluten Free. Spicy if you request spicy. Currys are aromatic
Delicious and full of flavor dishes. Great customer service. Also great atmosphere.
I’ve been going to basil since they were downtown (for decades). I love this restaurant. The only thing that was annoying is that I ordered pad Thai which comes with shrimp and chicken. Given that I’m vegetarian, I asked for tofu pad Thai. The tofu pad Thai was great, but what was annoying is that
We loved our dinner here! First off all, we loved that we got seated right away and didn't need reservations. The coconut soup is delicious and the wide noodle dish (the first one under the noodles section) was my absolute favorite! It has a hint of sweetness and it was delicious. The pad Thai was m
The food will bring me back. The service wasn't the best the night we were there, which was a bit disappointing because we went for our anniversary. Sometimes it just happens, but it wasn't bad enough to deter another visit. We just should've been paid more attention. Also the host could use a littl
Best place for delicious Pad Thai and cashew chicken! Tried the BARRAMUNDI for the first time and was delicious as all the rest. Consistently good food and service.
This is our go-to Thai food restaurant. My wife and I agree that the food is good, but it's pricey. Not a lot of Thai options in SC. I guess that gives them the right to price gouge.
