My husband and I have been going to Ronaldo's since way back when they were located in the "train" car at the beach. Over the past nearly 20 years we have had more hits than misses, lots of great seafood dishes for my husband, and lots of tasty veal, chicken and eggplant for me. The staff knows our faces as we go on special occasions, and are usually very friendly. If there were any serious critisisms it would be the tight booths, and tight seating arrangement, they really should either rent out the space next door or break down and rent/buy a new location. I hate to complain, but there really is no excuse for it...lack of cleanliness of all the dusty decor, and since you can see into the open kitchen that could use a good scrub down too.. It's a pet peeve of mine I guess, but otherwise the food is great and worth the price, since there is almost always yummy leftovers for the next day.
My wife and I go here as often as we can. The portions are large and everything I've tried has been delicious! Definitely get the toasted ravioli appetizer the rose sauce is so good!
Only if you're hungry.... Ronaldo's is an excellent restaurant. The menu here is vast and the prices reasonable.
Bring your A game when dining here, the portions are LARGE.
I recommend the Veal Saltimbocca or the Eggplant parm.
It's been quite a few years since I've been here. I loved it back then and I love it even more now. I had brought five other women with me who tried it for the first time and fell in love. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and dining service.
Absolutely phenomenal! Wait staff made you feel at home, Food was worth every calorie
Exceptional flavor and presentation. Welcoming and warm environment. Made the dining experience very special. Can't wait to go again .
Picked this place while traveling thru the area and craving Italian food! So glad we did! Service was great and the food was even better. I had chicken/veal/eggplant parmesan and my husband had chicken and tortellini. Portions were very big. Plenty to bring home for another meal.
We went to Ronaldo's with a very large party on a Weds night for an Uncle's Birthday.
Though they were shorthanded, the character of our server Doreen made up for any wait time. She was amazing! Since she was also mixing the drinks (which were delicious), she did a fantastic job of juggling such a large party. The drink menu had plenty of options for all tastes.
The food was also delicious and huge quantities! Crowd faves- the Seafood Fettucine, which comes out in a skillet and had big chunks of lobster, shrimp and scallops and the Chicken Cordon Bleu, not what you'd typically expect but delicious.
To top it off, Doreen heard it was a birthday celebration and brought out a birthday dessert with a song and some surprising disco ball action- it was awesome.
We'll definitely be back!
Enjoyed the food immensely; they had live music at 5 pm on a Wednesday night and the service was excellent
Service was great and the food is good! Price to portion was good. I received a large bowl of pasta with my order of breaded veal with mushrooms and onions in a meat sauce. Fresh, hot 🍞 with olive oil was served. The tiramisu and coffee I had was good. Group seating and Wifi available. I even saw "Pass the baby!" with one family. Plenty of parking. Calling ahead is recommended. I recommend this restaurant. The last time I was here was over twenty years ago and not much has changed other than seating. Bathroom was in good shape.
Update: Wednesday, July, 2020; Inside dining available. Reservations highly recommended. I had the Trilogy Parmigiana, breaded chicken, veal and eggplant in a meat sauce. I had tiramisu for dessert. Both were good. Free refills on my iced tea. No bread was served, but, I did get a bowl of Minestrone soup with my order.. Large portion for price. Friendly service, in fact, I was called "friend" by my server. Frank Sinatra played over the speakers.
I had a good time!
