Very good sandwiches, I had the Wick Fig and my wife had the Gilbert Stewart. Mine: for my taste buds was overly sweet, way too much fig spread, which overpowered the cheese and bacon to the point I had to relook at the menu to ensure it was supposed to be there. Still it was good, just not great for me. I had it on the multigrain bread, which was very good. I had also sampled my wife’s GS, which was actually much better than mine, because it wasn’t so sweet. Overall I would return and order differently. There’s no table service, so giving a service score is actually non applicable. Parking is free on street and I believe there is a back side parking lot close by

Cute little eatery with delicious food, coffee, fresh juice and smoothies. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and filling. Also bakery items that look amazing but we didn’t have a chance to try. A must place to stop!

Really neat small little place. Love what they are doing there. Only complaint was the smoothie prices. $11 for a berry smoothie was a little crazy. It was very good but I can get that exact blend anywhere else for like $8. Otherwise nice pastries.

I go out of my way, when on work travel in Newport, to come here for lunch. What an ideal restaurant in a really nice town. I had a cup of chowder and the Vinny. Both excellent. They were low on iced black tea, so she brought me a chocolate cookie. (I can be easily bought for a good cookie. Lol)

It's a tight fit and usually busy so best to take it on the run or grab a table for two out front. Not good for a big party. Delicious sandwiches! I get mine with their fresh squeezed lemonade. Yummy baked goods too.

I love this place but don’t come here as much anymore! Don’t know why but It got very pricey not after pandemics because of inflation but way before that. Having said love the place it’s cozy food is fresh and simply delicious. Shayna I don’t think treats like cookies and scones should be $5 salad $20 why??

Great service, diverse menu. Acai bowl was very good. Bagels and avacado toast had the topping spread to the edges so that every bite was full of flavor. The morning glory was probably the highlight. The baked goods were fresh and moist, too. We came here based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. Music volume was reasonable and the selection was inoffensive, so I'm guessing that's been addressed.

Coffee, sandwiches, salads, breakfast, and bakery treats. My wife on her sandwich: "It's perfect. So good." Phone ahead ordering and outdoor seating available.

First visit, definitely won't be the last. As i type this, I'm sitting in the restaurant. The food is very fresh and delicious. I had the Judy's Farm sandwich, and took a sweet baby kale salad to go. The sandwich is black forest ham, cheddar, mayo, lettuce, tomato, dill pickle, and whole grain mustard on a ciabatta roll. It was very filling, fresh and delicious. Give this little place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Got an iced coffee and shares a brownie with my cousin, would love to try a sandwich or fresh juice in the future. Fun to see the mission and family's pride and solidarity in support and celebration of Shayna, the cafe's namesake.

Shayna's Place has been our go-to spot for over seven years now, and it's one of the reasons we're so glad to call North Kingstown home. The food is always delicious, whether we're in the mood for a tasty lunch sandwich, a mid-day snack, or a sweet treat. The atmosphere is inviting and laid-back, and whether we choose to sit inside or outside on a beautiful day, we always feel at ease. It's not your typical chain restaurant - Shayna's Place is truly a special gem in this community. In fact, it's easy to see the impact that Shayna's Place has had on the surrounding area. By walking around, you'll notice unique and special shops, and you'll feel the revitalization that this spot has helped to bring. It's no wonder that we sometimes meet up with friends at Shayna's, and other times come on our own - it's a spot that always feels like home. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Shayna's Place is a must-visit

I ordered the Vinny's Kitchen sandwich, and it was amazing!!!! So flavorful!!! I was actually kind of sad that I couldn't finish it because I got too full. And the TF Green juice was amazing as well!! Makes me miss my juicer. Will definitely be back soon!! 🤗🤗❤❤

My mom, who lives nearby, and I have wanted to try this place for a long time. Time off from work due to injury freed up some time, so I took her here for lunch on a recent weekday. Shayna's Place is pefectly located in downtown historic Wickford, with plenty of parking, either on street, or in a nearby municipal (free) lot. For the size of the restaurant, there is a decent number of tables inside, and a few sidewalk tables. My mother especially admired the custom-built bar, with wainscoting and black walnut top. We even got to meet and talk with the owner (who is a former builder, and built that bar himself). Ambiance is top-notch, and there is always mood-setting music playing. We were told by an employee that much of the music is chosen by the owner's daughter, Shayna, who will even go so far as to tailor the music to the tastes of whichever employees happen to be working on any given day. On our first visit, we were listening to song covers played on classical guitar. Speaking of employees, we found each employee to be extremely polite and cheerful (a rarity these days). Being an Italian grinder afficionado, I just had to try the Vinny's Kitchen, which is Shayna's rendition of the sandwich, and voted best Italian grinder in Rhode Island by USA Today. If you read some of my other Yelp reviews, I have two favorite places for Italian grinders. Well, after eating Shayna's, I now have three favorite places for Italian grinders. All three are excellent, with fresh ingredients, yet different with their own nuances. Shayna's has the advantage, though, since they're closest to me, and have way better ambiance than my other two sandwich spots. So, yeah, for me, they have the best Italian grinder! Now that we have that out of the way, their fresh lemonade, and chocolate chunk cookies, were also excellent. So, I noticed other reviewers complained about the prices. True, they're not cheap. But, to me, they're not outrageous. There's two things to consider: First, there's this thing called inflation. Second, it's worth paying a premium for the ambiance. The ambiance was so good, in fact, that my mom wanted to go back a few days later, for coffee, and our second experience there was just as uplifting as our first.

Super fresh ingredients presented well. Small place, great service, free parking on street, cool little town on water. A good place for conversation but not a great place to conduct business during busy time as a little noisy inside. FYI I wish people on cell phones with big mouths in small restaurants would take it outside but that’s another topic.

This place is great! The atmosphere is so nice, and all of the staff are so friendly. The food is so absolutely delicious, I got the special called the Wick Fig and it was SO good. And don’t even get me started on Shayna’s DJ skills, she single-handedly creates the best atmosphere through her song choices. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
