Great fish & chips. Who knew? Add a Narraganset Beer and you are livin' large! Local crowd adds to the experience.

Solid southern-style barbecue and a relatively cozy interior! Service was prompt and the portions were definitely generous! Free popcorn and peanuts are a solid plus for the bar. Only problem with this place is their bigoted regular crowd - if you don’t feel like listening to sexist and xenophobic chatter, maybe stay away from the bar area and their regulars.

Went for BBQ but decided on fish and chips or onion rings rather. Very comfortable atmosphere. Clean and friendly. My two pieces of fish were pretty thick and delicious. Good value for the money. Free peanuts and yummy popcorn was nice. The place has a nice vibe and atmosphere to it. Open seating around the bar gives it a tavern feel but still has a cozy family feel as well. Will definitely return if I’m in the area. PS. I really feel like this is a 5 star place. I would totally recommend going here. I just did 4 stars because of the onion rings. I paid an extra dollar for onion rings that reminded me of store bought ‘generic / Walmart’ onion rings. I feel like if I would have ordered the fries… I would have done 5 stars. (Assuming the fries are awesome.) The onion rings were underwhelming but the rest of the meal and atmosphere was SPOT on! Like… I LOVE this place! I wish I lived next door to it.

Had never been here. A really nice bar. Clean inside, food was good, we had a brisket pizza, and a good beer selection. Nice outside area. I would recommend it.

Food was amazing, will def. Go back. The servers work hard to get you your odor despite the low staffing we were taken care of very well and professionally

Rough and ready decor with a touch of Bbq. I’ve been twice and did not enjoy my entrees but the people I was with did. Pulled pork sandwich was a success along with a chicken sandwich. I had a tuna melt once and it was not good and then I had a Rueben but the pastrami was very fatty. Looks like a place the regulars call home and I mean that in a positive way.

Food was ok, very plain, which is fair enough. No bells and whistles. The stuffie and rI clam chowder was really good! The quesadilla, salmon, cornbread were fine. The drink choices weee nice.

A few years ago Oak Hill Tavern used to serve the most delicious steamed saugy in a hot dog roll & topped it with hot mustard & sauerkraut. We visited recently & to our dismay those 'dogs had been eliminated - no longer served!. Please Bring Them Back!

First but not last visit!! Very welcoming with good food/music. Too cold to stand out by the large fire pit. Made a nice view from our table.

Food was good. Calamari appetizer was tasty. Nice laid back atmosphere. Full rack of ribs fell right off the bone. Pulled pork with BBQ sauce was filling and the sweet potato fries were awesome.

Food was good. The hostess was unfair . Gave a whisper to a "local" about a available table .. the local "regular customer" kindly came to front of line a proceeded around us waiting to the waiting table...almost lost 5 customers with that move...Luckily she was reported by 5 customers,,waitress acknowledged the sneaky move and immediately sat us at a table before we left without eating.

My favorite place around N Kingstown. Free serve-yourself popcorn and roasted peanuts, shells go on the floor. Great outdoor patio area with fire pit, outdoor bar, big Jenga, and a putting green (must see). Sometimes the outdoor bar is closed when I've been there. Interior is lovely with wood and stone, cool rustic decor, and a few TVs but not excessive. Menu is varied with different specialty menu every night, and everything I've ordered has been great. Favorite appetizer is peel and eat shrimp for .20 each, and cocktail sauce comes with a dab of fresh horseradish. Several beers on draught, with extensive local can/bottle menu. Live music some nights. Must visit!

We usually go on wacky wing Wednesday cheap wings and good beer, but the other day we went there they weren't busy at all, the service was good but the food was very messy and soggy might of been a bad day so definitely go on Wednesdays!

I had their daily special “Beef tips” and 16 oz draft beer from Vermont! They were very good! The waitress was nice, too.
