Just had some AMAZING bread from Great Harvest Bread Company in North Kingstown!
I bought the most beautiful loaf of Vermont cheddar garlic bread and asked how it tasted frozen and didn't have enough left to freeze. When toasted, it was magical.The texture and flavor are both absolutely delightful and you don't even need butter (but I did 😋).
The food tasted good, I would have given it 5 stars but I would think for the money you are paying you would receive more of a sandwich.
There vegan scones are delicious. There pre-made cookie mixes are great too. Of course the bread.

Review updated! I was there today and the place has a new owner. The store changed a lot and it looks great, 5 stars. It is also dog friendly outside with tables you can sit at and eat. It's been confirmed by the (very friendly) employee at the counter. They sell bread of course but also desserts, sandwiches, soups, hot and cold beverages. They also offer gift baskets. I'm glad I stopped by again.

Outstanding bakery. Their breads are the best, esoecially the 5 grain high-fiber. All generations of our family love it, from two-year-old up through grandparents. Makes great sandwiches. Terrific toasted. Hamburger buns, Portuguese sweet bread, and scones are other favorites.
Our favorite local spot! Best sandwiches in town. The only place we'll go for bread and cookies: a relief to get healthy, hearty baked goods that aren't processed and aren't loaded with high fructose corn syrup. The homemade whole wheat flour makes all the difference. The food is imaginative and full of heart and soul: a much-needed change of pace in a world of donut shops and grab-and-go coffee. We love to sit for a while and enjoy the friendly atmosphere - with the added plus of a kids' area to keep our little one happy while we actually finish a cup of coffee! The whole experience drives home the importance of shopping local and building community.
My new favorite place! Bread is homemade and so fresh! Sandwiches are awesome. They sell loaves of various breads, scones, cookies, as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
This place is delish! I ordered lunch online for curbside pickup. Fast, fresh & friendly service! I had the Cobb sandwich on their honey wheat bread and it was so good. My only issue is why it took me so long to try this place. I’ll definitely be back very soon.
Nadiege and her crew continue to amaze us with their high quality breads, fresh made sandwiches and assortment of pastries, soup mixes and other delicious offerings. This is a gem in the midst of North Kingstown and I highly recommend you make this a regular part of your local cuisine. Thursdays are challa days and Fridays they offer chocolate babka. Enjoy!!!!
This place is amazing!!! The ladies working there are super friendly. The food is delicious!!! I’ve tried their lunch and breakfast sandwiches and they are really good. My favorite bread is the one that has cheese in the mix, so tasty, mmmmm
I had the pleasure of enjoying this treat whole on duty. When I tell you this place has sandwiches that will smack your mama! The bread is super fresh the vegetables are so crisp and full of life. This is a hidden jewel in Rhode Island but I found you now ! Ya'll get 10 stars from me.
Love this place! It's my new favorite sandwich place (super flavorful) and bakery. The new owners are fantastic. Every time my daughter and I stop by, they spoil us and we leave with fresh, delicious treats.

I'm from Illinois and literally did a u-turn in the road when I saw there was a Great Harvest here - be still my little midwestern heart! Try the cheddar garlic loaf it will change your life, especially if you get it hot from the oven. Basically everything's good. Great staff!
