Good sandwiches, I recommend the chicken club with the works. If you’re taking it to go ask for the oil and vinegar on the side!
These guys got your back! What a killer eggplant parm. Will be my go-to from now on whenever I’m in Long Island. And they know each individual that enters that door by name! Thanks gents . Big love to y’all! 💙
Great quality sandwiches. A little slow, but it's because they're always so busy. Worth the wait.
This place is a classic. My favorite is the chicken supreme which consists of Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers and the works. But any chicken cutlet sandwich from this place is great. Idk why other places dont do this but these guys pound the chicken nice and thin and fry it so well. The chicken cutlet is very juicy and flavorful. The hero rolls from this place need to be toasted otherwise you are wasting your time. What can I say they make a great sandwich. The only problem with this place is that people behind the counter don't really seem like they want to speak with you. They just want you to spit out your order asap so you can get out of their face. Or that the vibe I get anyway. It's kind of annoying. Other than that this place makes a good product so I would recommend it.
First time here. Food was excellent, the chicken cutlet sandwich YUM, great customer service, met the owner Anthony is a great guy.
Give this place a must try, doesn’t look like much on the outside but definitely worth it!!!!!
Bomb spot that’s a neighborhood staple. Roast beef melt is always delicious. Cheese perfectly melted and such tender meat.
I got a chicken hero ( large ) for $14 it was worth the money . That sandwich was enough to feed 4 people
The chicken hero was amazing and easily enough for two people. If you want the freshest and most delicious hero ever, then you must go here.
You can't get a better hero anywhere on Long Island. Lots of options and they're all great.
If you happen to be nearby and have a craving for a scrumptious chicken cutlet sandwich that is as huge as your arm, then this is definitely the spot you should head to. They offer it at an excellent value that you wouldn't want to miss.
Food is always great and plentiful. Owner and his team are always so nice, joking around, making you feel like family. Great place!
Heroes are amazing. But two weeks ago we ordered and got to say sandwiches were a little on the thin side for $12 and up u would think it would be thicker . But iv been coming here for years and had to give it a chance so this weekend we ordered again the same as last weekend. And are Heroes were amazing 👏 ❤️ guess it depends are who made it that day. Hopefully we will continue to get the best Heroes around 🙏. With prices rising you still want to get your money worth. More money does not mean less product
Haven’t had a problem with this restaurant yet. Their sandwiches are tasty. I’ve ordered breakfast to go and it was plated nicely for when I was ready to eat it.
Oh and it’s a restaurant that the department I work with orders from. They don’t disappoint.
Classic Italian subs. It's hard to find places like this, family owned with great food.
No better deli sandwich exists.
Nothing fancy just deliciously seasoned sandwiches with amazing bread and quality ingredients. Straightforward and been a neighborhood staple for years. Go tos are the chicken club with the works and roast beef melt.
I have been going to My Hero since I was in second grade. I grew up close to go often enough that my nickname became meatball parm Tom! I received gift certificates from family members during the holidays for My Hero because they knew how much I loved their food plus they wanted to support a family owned business. Whenever I visit home I make it a point to stop in as they always have great food and are kind welcoming people. I’ll go to my grave longing for My Hero!!
