Let me start with I am a Jersey girl and grew up with some amazing pizza, for SC this was a good pizza. I don’t think we will be going back the pie was not as crispy as I like but my daughter loved the cheese, toppings tasted fresh. it is much better than any chain place.
Wings had a good spice to them but a bit dry.
We had the mozzarella sticks, garlic toast, and meat lovers pizza with the badil sauce. Sauce was a little runny and bland. Mozzarella sticks were normal from most places. Garlic bread was on a French loaf. The meatballs were mini and actually had a great flavor. The pizza bread was amazing! I hardly eat the crust, and I ate all of my pizza crusts. I would eat here again. Service was lacking a little. Our server seemed to not pay attention when we asked for something. He just kept walking. We had to go after him.
Good is always fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. Staff is very friendly. Eat here every time I visit cherry grove!
Visit #1 - Had a meatlover's pie, take out. Delicious. Great fresh ingredients. Awesome staff.
Visit #2 - Dined in tonight. We love this place! Staff is all-around amazing. Karolina Pearl, our server was sweet, friendly, personable and attentive. We had spaghetti and meatballs, Philly steak sandwich and pizza. Each was delicious of course.
Really excellent thin pizza! Ordered take out of a large white cheese with ricotta. Ready in 15 min. Staff was super organized and the lady that took your name at the entry way was awesome. Great service. Would of given 5 stars but it was the first time eating there so we need to go back and try everything else!
Great place to eat pizza. We have come here for years. Diana made it easy to know where to go for pick up and dine in. She has an organized system. There were so many to-go pizza orders while we were there. They never slowed down. All of the staff is working so the wait was very reasonable at dinner. Our server was pleasant. It’s July 4th week and we were very impressed.
Absolutely LOVE this pizza place! We got it multiple times on our trip. The time they were closed we ventured and tried another local pizza place and they didn’t even compare to Basil’s! If you are on vacay and want to do a pizza night this is your place!
The best gluten free pizza I have EVER had! Wonderful flavorful and the crust was the perfect balance of chewy/crispy. Even the non-GF people in our crew said it was delicious. I wish I lived in town and could get it every weekend! And the regular pizzas (cheese, meat, and shrimp scampi) were given rave reviews by everyone too!
I'm from Wisconsin have family on the beach probably heard of Hewett's A/C if you're from there. Anyways I made the mistake of ordering one pizza. I wish I could have at least 10 pizzas sent same day air. So ya they're pretty good.
Delicious pizza!! Definitely one of our favorite stops in North Myrtle, wish we would've tried it earlier in our trip. If you want yummy pizza, go here!
This was a great place to eat. It came recommended from the condo owner. We had the pizza. Amazing crust and sauce. Waited for a table on a Tuesday night for about 30 minutes. Would go back.

The kitchen, cooking and server personnel greeted us all at once when we walked in the door, we were seated immediately, and the pizza was amazing. The pizza was so good, we decided to go to this restaurant for lunch 2 days, consecutively. The first day, we had a nice lady serve us and the 2nd day, we had a nice young man serve us. The lady that served us on the first day was helping the kitchen personnel on the 2nd day. The young man that served us on the 2nd day, he told me that he started working for them when he was a teenager and did different jobs in the kitchen, around the restaurant and then ultimately cooking and or serving. My wife and I had the specialty white pizza (fresh tomatoes garlic etc) and on the 2nd day, I had spaghetti and meatballs along with the white pizza. My brother and his family had pepperoni pizza and a slice of cheese pizza for their daughter. My wife ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and salad on the 2nd day. This place was within walking distance of the resort where we stayed in North Myrtle Beach. Highly recommend!
Less than one week after eating here, my brother is still talking about how good the pizza was at this restaurant!
Really liked it! I went in the off season so service was a bit slow and my glass was empty for a long while but the prices are good and the portions are HUGE! They also have gluten free pizza and it is really great! Doesn't taste like cardboard (some places do) and it doesn't cost a months wages, so I was really impressed by that. Definitely worth a stop if you are a pizza fan and the location really can't be beaten.
WOAH, Talk about amazing. This was my first experience with Basil's as I just moved to Longs/Little river area.
It was their opening night for the season and they did not disappoint!
The staff was friendly, quick, and professional. The pizza we got was the supreme and it was delicious! You can tell the owners Diana and Harry take pride in what they do and my experience was great because of that. We are excited to have a go-to pizza/Italian spot now on the north end. Thank you Basil's!
I really enjoyed the all meat pizza. It has fantastic flavor and abundant toppings but the crust was a little thinner than I expected. The fries are extra crispy and have a taste that I like. Chicken tenders aren't anything special. They seem to be the frozen ones or something. Not bad, just not great. Overall I enjoyed the meal and would order pizza from here again.
Not new york but probably the best tasting different pizza I ever had. Really tasty. Looked like a fake pizza but really great taste! Thank you for starting my vacation off right!
