Great experience. Good service. The crab legs were hot and the baked fish tasty. This place is worth the stop! We were pleasantly surprised.
Went for dinner in the winter season for Myrtle Beach. Wait staff was nice and crab legs were not bad. Other food was mediocre at best. 3/5 stars. Only go back for crabs.
It was ok. Most of the food was good and I love the all you can eat seafood. Of course it wasn't phenomenal, but all you can eat buffets never are. I probably won't go back, not because I had a bad experience, there's just way more worth while choices in Myrtle Beach.
Crab Legs. My girlfriend ate TONS of Crab Legs during our lunch at Bennett's. Most of the other food is either super deep fried or swimming in butter. Pretty tasty, but lots of better choices are available. But as far as a buffet goes, it was pretty good.

So many seafood buffets at North Myrtle Beach, how to decide? And they all have almost the same offerings. So we made the selection based on reviews and comments. I prefer to support places that support the military. I called several places but just about impossible to get to a human. We decided on Bennett’s. I was a little disappointed they offer no military discount but no idea what their competitors do.
We were there for early dinner, just after the opening time, so we’re seated right away. I tasted a few items, steamed oysters and mussels, but we were there for the Snow Crab and waiting for them to restock. Our (great) server Felisha saw the stocked and retrieved our first crab leg plates for us.
The crab legs were very good but not seasoned very much, so we asked for, and received Old Bay Seasoning to add. Yummm! Very often Felisha stopped by to check on us and empty the discard pile. I switched and tried Fried items: Bang Bang Shrimp, Bay Scallops, Clam Strips, Squash and Oysters. Shrimp was good but no heat(?). Clam strips were just crunchy breading. Oysters were small so I picked through to get only the soft ones with some body.
Surprisingly my favorite, other than crab legs, were the Fried Squash. Crispy outside, soft inside and light breading - they were great! And of course we had to sample desserts. I had a bit of pecan pie and strawberry shortcake, which were both very tasty.
The ambience is really nice, food was great, the staff is very friendly and our server Marj is extraordinary. She made sure our drinks never run dry. John, the manager, came to our table and made sure everything was good with us as well.
Overall very nice experience! Would recommend! plus we had a photo as a souvenir. 🫶
This is the second time we've stumbled on this little place in North Myrtle Beach. The only complaint I have is I always eat too much! The food has always been fresh, hot or cold (depending on the appropriate serving temperature), the atmosphere is always laid back & comfortable with a large variety of music styles playing softly enough you can hold a conversation. The staff is always friendly & wonderful, tonight Piper was our server & she has a great smile & personality! The price is a little on the high end, but for the quality of service & variety of good food: totally worth it! They do have coupons available through tourist oublications
My family has been eating here for over 20 years. Best seafood ever! Sandra is the best waitress and has worked there for many many years.
Food was hot. Customer service was great our server was Fiona. She kept our cups filled and our tables free of plates. Anything we asked for she got. The bathroom was clean.
The crabs were good quality not over cooked either. They have plenty of food options including prime rib. Soup and salad bar are included with buffet. They also have ice cream and sherbet. There was also alcohol available for purchase.
Great location for family reunion dinner or bday party. Location is handicapped accessible. They have veggies for the non meat eaters. Ample parking
My husband and I were planning on going to Captain George’s Buffet, but after reading several bad reviews for them, we decided to come to Bennett’s Calabash Seafood Buffet in North Myrtle Beach instead. Boy, are we glad we did!!! It’s much more than just a seafood buffet! The selection of food to choose from was endless and everything we ate was delicious! Sweetest crab legs we’ve ever tasted. From the salad bar with fresh cooked huge shrimp, to the soup, entrees, side dishes and desserts, it was hard to choose. The manager was testing the temperature of everything with a thermometer. We came for the crab legs but I ended up tasting a whole lot more. The cost of $41.99 was well worth it. Our server, Felisa was outstanding! She was very personable and returned to our table several times throughout our stay to empty our shell basket and see if we needed anything. We will definitely return when we’re in town the next time!
Amazing Experience! Manager Jamie wished us all a Happy Mothers Day and held the door for us when we came in and left. Our waitress, Jennifer was absolutely amazing. She told us about the various foods on the bar, was extremely friendly and funny. She made our visit there very enjoyable! We will definitely be back as long as these 2 are there! The inside of the restaurant was very clean and the food was super fresh!!!!
We come here every year and as always the food is great. But this year we had Terry as our server. He made the experience extra special though. My wife and I have been servers in our younger years and we recognized right off that Terry was awesome. Not only did he provide exceptional service but the attitude behind that service was one of humbleness and true care for those at his tables. Thank you Terry. We enjoyed being at your table this evening.
We have been eating here for a few years and I can tell the difference. The management did a great job! The salad bar looks better and now they offer a fresh steak or crab legs from the kitchen. They are really making sure you get your money’s worth! Gem was our waitress tonight who was really attentive and sweet.
Walked in with 3 adults ,3 kids and a infant , greeted by John! Was our first time here , he explained to us prices and with the kids ages , very helpful and talkative! As john was walking us to our table he took time to explain and point out where all the food was and if not up to par to just shout and he would make it right 😉 once seated Gem was our waitresses asked us if we've ever been, we say no and she explains where everything was ! She was filling our drinks and cleaning plates constantly, and not in a over pushy bad way ! On to the food, hands down the best quality I've ever had at a all you can eat ! No joke from fried rice to crab legs , cake and ice cream it all was fantastic! When I would take something on my plate at the buffet, staff members were wiping up behind everyone, making sure everything was clean ! A+ to all the staff here 👏 you guys rocked it ! This is THE PLACE to be!! My family and I all love all-you-can-eat crab legs!! Our waitress Faith made it so special!! She came to our table with such a beautiful personality! She’s probably one of the happiest people I’ve ever met. She was so attentive and always asked us if we needed any fresh food, which she brought! If you come to Bennett’s, ask for Faith! We will be back!
The all you can eat crab legs is great except the fake butter they use tastes horrible, it had a chemical taste to it. The crab legs would have tasted even better with REAL butter. The shrimp was also delicious as was the fried fish. I didn’t bother having any kind of sides. The dessert was very subpar. For almost $40 a person they could have some way better desserts.
Do yourself a favor and visit this seafood restaurant in North Myrtle Beach . Server Marj service is unmatched. She made sure our dining experience was good. The food is absolutely amazing for its value, you can request the prime rib and rib eye cooked to your liking. Absolutely the best buffet we had while in town. Highly recommend!
Excellent buffet, Nicole our waitress was extremely helpful and friendly infact the whole staff was very nice. The food was the star of the show very fresh, tasty and filling for 41 bucks I feel like I robbed them. When you go ask for Nicole's section and tip her good.
Dine in with my friends last weekend and Gem, our server was a top-notch! Best server we ever had! The food was mouthwatering especially the crab-legs that was really fresh and tasty! You will not need any sauces anymore! Worth the money if you love SEAFOOD!🤍
We were a group of 4, and I must say the food was amazing, the service and the atmosphere. Our server, Sandra, was the best! She let us know about new places to explore around here, and she even gave me a lesson on cracking crab legs. I loved the variety they had here, and everything was fresh. Will definitely come back. There are many all you can eat buffets in the Myrtle Beach area. But one we go back to time and again is this Bennett's location. The restaurant may be smaller than most but what you're here for is the food. Several land and sea options, including my wife's favorite, crab legs. The food is always fresh and the servers keep the food areas stocked and clean. Never had bad service here. Give 'em a try and look for coupons in the local books for some savings. But well worth the money
Bennett’s Calabash Seafood was a very good choice for seafood and buffet style food. We were seated as soon as we arrived and the waitress was quickly there to take our drink orders. I have to say that the food was all well prepared and had great flavor as well. The price is about the average rate as other buffet places. Parking was easy and plentiful. Saw a lot of families enjoying meals ! Highly recommend Bennett’s
