Geeat place. We've been here several times. The food is very good. I would highly recommend the buffet when it is offered, simply because you have a wide variety to sample from.

Delicious, great service, nice selection for vegetarians. My spice loving friend loved the heat in his spicy dish. You can request different levels of spice for each dish. I requested medium and it was perfect for someone who likes a touch of heat. The naan was lightly crisped and and had a nice flavor.

Best Indian on west side. My husband and I get take out from Flavors of India on a regular basis -- probably once or twice a month. Their chicken Makhani is beyond delicious. I often joke with my husband that if I was going to be executed for some reason, this dish would be on the menu for my last meal! They have wonderful naan, great samosas and everything we've tried here has been fantastic. I have dined at several Indian places around town, including The Mad Greek (which has half an Indian menu) and others on the east side. We feel this is certainly competitive. We have frequented this restaurant since it was Kashmir Palace many years ago and despite ownership and name changes, the food remains consistently good. The only complaint we have about the ownership change (which may have since changed again) is that we experienced a problem once a few months back when our order was not made as we requested. We got all the way back home (to the farthest point west in Westlake) with the take-out meal we ordered and found it was inedible because it was not made as we ordered. Since we had a one year-old and it was getting late, we couldn't just jump back in car and drive back to North Olmsted that night. So we called to complain and were told our entrees would be free the next time we ordered take-out and just to ask for him by name. A couple weeks later we called to get our free make-up meal but they told us the gentleman no longer worked there. They offered to only give us 10% off our meals. Well, we didn't pay for just 10% of the ruined meal the time before -- we paid for 100% of it and it should have been made 100% right. When we protested, the entrees were given to us for free but certainly not happily and certainly with a sharpness of tone and a side of sarcasm. That incident upset us so much, since we've been regulars here for years, that it kept us away for over two months and we seriously considered never returning again. My husband was prepared to never go back. Ultimately we decided to give them another try since that was the first bad experience we'd ever had there. We have not experienced any problems like that again (aside from two times having to wait at least 15 minutes for take-out when we showed up at the time they told us). You should gather from this review that even with a hiccup or two, we still go back despite those issues because the food is just THAT GOOD. We can't imagine life without Flavors of India's food, so we continue to go back often. Don't get me wrong -- if the bad experiences started to become a repeating thing, we'd stop going here for sure. But for what has been at least seven years of great experiences, we didn't want to let one or two small issues keep us away. Prepare to be wowed with truly great Indian food.

Much improved. Addendum: the owner and chef changed this month. I have not tried the place since. So my opinion below does not reflect on that.

My husband and myself are Indian food lovers. Since we are westsiders of Cleveland, there is not many close by indian choices that we truly enjoy. We usually go all the way to Jaipur Junction to sit in a less than average atmosphere to enjoy superb quality indian food.
Last year, we glanced this place in an unspectacular plaza and gave it a try which resulted at that time in great disappointment.
Yesterday, we had a crave for samosas and were tired from a long day. We decided to give Flavors of India another chance.
We ordered the nonvegetarian mix and potato samosas for appetizers. The mix came with two kebab (minced lamb) skewers and a few spiced and grilled chicken cubes that were essentially dried out and not very tasty.
However, the samosas were superb! The stuffing was fresh and well spiced, the condiments were very good as well.
Our main dish choices were Chicken Makhani and Chicken shahi korma - both of which were out of this world! Both had a superb flavor, very nice spice variations, and the chicken pieces inside were tender and juicy.
The portions were generous, and this morning I tasted the leftovers, which were still amazingly good.

We will definitely be back soon, and we are glad we have found a go to place for soothing our recurrent indian food crave at the west side...

Delicioussss!. I just finished my fantastic meal at Flavors of India all of an hour ago so it's still fresh in my mind. I was looking for somewhere new near my mom's house and this was one of the first few results to come up and we love Indian food so we just decided to go. From the looks of the plaza in which it's located and the lack of people inside the restaurant, we were not expecting much. Things started looking and smelling better when we stepped in to the aroma of spices and pleasant decor. My only minor complaint would be the slightly awkward service. I was so surprised by the extensive menu. I've eaten at several Indian restaurants and, while each place has its own attitude and flavor, I always see the same menu items. As hard as it was to make up our minds, we were far from disappointed with our final choices. We had the Masala Papaddum to start; it was like a crispy Indian taco with cilantro, yogurt, and lentils. We shared Channa Masala (a chickpea dish) and Paneer Makhani (Indian cheese in tomato butter sauce). I've had all kinds of Channa and this one was just as lovely if not lovelier than the others with its own texture, flavor, and kick. The paneer was, as the menu stated, tender and the tomato sauce was sweet, creamy, and very satisfying. This may be my new favorite Indian restaurant in the Greater Cleveland area. I highly recommend it.
