1st time, Everyone was very pleasant here, smiles in abundance! We'd gotten the all you can eat fish. Wanted to try everything on the menu

My husband ordered the firecracker melt and it was awful. The bread was soggy and way too sweet. We also ordered a large Caesar salad and all it and was romaine lettuce, croutons, and dressing. No parmesan or anything else just lettuce and dressing. I ordered the twisted mac and cheese. This was not a very tasting you either but was okay. I lived in North Royalton for several years now and I finally brought myself to ignore the reviews and try it but it's not worth it at all. Not only was the food poor but the staff was extremely rude, unfriendly, and overall very unwelcoming.

After hearing so much about it from coworkers, we finally decided to check it out. I was the perfect place to be at at a cold winter night. The Space is much bigger than you might think from the outside. A nice cozy atmosphere . As for the Menu, it has everything one can think of in a small place like that . Our wait was extremely short. The food was delicious and our waitress ( Ashley ) extremely nice, despite us changing our minds a few times here and there…..Will be back for the rest of the items

Food was excellent.. grey wolf fish dinner was worth the drive. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Quick service in and out. We'll be back for sure.. thanks again

I ordered their buffalo ranch wings, which are expensive and they showed up basically plain.

First time coming to Cleats for a night out. It was a 'seat yourself' night so we decided to sit on the patio. It took them about 10 minutes to notice us but once the server arrived, everything went smoothly. Thank you Anita for making this visit pleasant for us. We will definitely be back again soon.

Cleats is not what it used to be. I remember coming here years ago and their food was pretty good, definitely above average. My wife and I have been here two separate times in the last 2 months since we moved closer. The first time we didn't have a good experience, but figured we give it another try. Both times we went, the food was not good and extremely overpriced. The waitresses were not friendly. Do NOT get the WINGS! We went for the wings because they used to be good and everyone always raves about them. They also used to be A LOT bigger than the last two times we went. We asked for extra crispy both times and they were far from it. The sauces were not good and could tell they were from some bottle that had probably been sitting in the kitchen for months. They were also pretty small and cost $16.50 for a dozen!!! Almost $1.50 a wing and they were bad... On the website it said they were $10.99.. We also got fries that were average, nothing special. And, the pretzels with cheese which was pretty good, but just the basic box of frozen pretzels that you can get from any store and then deep fried. The waitress, did not tell us anything about the specials for the day which was half off pizzas, which we might have gotten if we had known. It didn't say anything about the specials on the menu. The only reason we found out was because it said it on the receipt when we went to pay. Beers were also a little expensive and there weren't many options for craft beers. Overall, we will not be back. We gave it a couple chances and were extremely let down both times. Don't waste your money going here when there are plenty of better and cheaper places close by.

If I could give Cleats 0 stars, I would especially after the way I was just treated, which is disappointing considering I’ve been going to cleats for 3+ years. As someone with a food allergy (to dairy), it is extremely difficult to eat there. I go with friends to play trivia, Evey person, including my husband will order food and drinks and I will order a drink to be a paying customer. After numerous attempts, working with the servers and the staff, it became clear that eating there was not an option. In true honesty, I could order a plain burger with no bun (bun has dairy) but I was expected to pay full price, even worth an explanation that I had a food allergy. For the last 6 months, I have been bringing my own food in, so I can eat (since I come right from work) and attend trivia. Nothing was ever said, the servers understood, no one said anything to me. Tonight, I was told that I either had to remove my food so I could stay or leave. I explained my situation, I explained I would be willing to talk to the owner, I explained that I couldn’t eat anything on the menu without eliminating items and still having to pay full price, I explained that I’ve been a customer for 3+ years, but none of my explanations made a difference. I have no choice that I can’t eat dairy, and I tried to work with them. I’m very dissappointed in Cleats, the management there, and how they treat their customers. I will not be returning, and I hope this post persuades you to not eat or provide business to this restaurant.

My wife and I both ordered the patty melt and fresh-cut fries and everything was excellent!! And our server did a very good job and having on the big screen the Christmas Day game when the Cavaliers came from behind to beat Golden State was pretty awesome!!

Love this place, always welcoming and accommodating. Whether it's just me and Bob or a group of 20! Thanks to all of you but especially to Karen, best bartender I know! <3

The ribs were pretty good, the wings were good, and the beer was cold.

Not bad.... A little pricey. I had indigestion all night, not sure what from..... We might go back..liked the atmosphere.

Tasty food, clean and amazingly efficient waitresses. Always have a great meal and memorable time.

I went for the wings was told great place I was not disappointed they were awesome. Our server was great and I had fun watching the Ohio state game. Fun place when in Cleveland again I sure will make the trip to Cleats in North Royalton.

We used to come here all the time for the wings and ton of chips. We loved it! Our last few visits have been so disappointing. The wings were smaller and the chips always stone cold. The prices are going up too, which makes it less enticing to eat here. To be quite blunt, we had somuch stomach distress within hours of eating there on so many occasions that we won't be back.

The food was your normal bar food. The service was poor. Never came back to refill water. Order was screwed up. Not very nice.

It takes forever to get your food. It's just chicken wings. What takes so long to get chicken wings?

I really like the decor in this place....wings were yummy too. Happy hour prices were fair. .

Great service and attention by staff. Great specials on every day. Loads of fun during games.

Was overall a great experience. The food was great, the service was good, they even changed the TV and put the Indians game on the one near us. And all was great ...UNTIL someone played the damn jukebox and the sound OVER RODE the television. BIG mood spoiler ...that's when we got our check and LEFT! ...too bad ...we really wanted to spend more time (and money) there ...went over to the Sip NPost. Sorry ...won't go back again.
