My kids and I had dinner here before seeing Hamilton. It was a perfect meal to start a perfect night! My steak was perfectly cooked and delicious! The creme brule for dessert was incredible!
Review for Ruth's Chris Steak House. The food was superb. Felt a little rushed at times to order, but that was probably just good service in that they checked in with us so often. Our servers were very well informed as to the menu and each selection we inquired for further details. The dinner was pricey, but that was what we expected. Overall, a great evening with great food and great service.
Service was wonderful and friendly. The bread is awesome. The plates are really really hot!! They didn't exaggerate on that for sure. The al la carte option was a success! I got the salmon which was lovely, large portion. I shouldve opted for the mashed potatoes than the creamed spinach. My boyfriend got the stuffed chicken breast and it tasted wonderful. Like I said though, the al la carte option is great can't go wrong.
Great filet, not overseasoned so you can really taste the natural flavor of the meat. The sweet potatoe casserole was a must have!!

First time at this location. Great service by our waitress Jackie. Mild dress code I agree with. The sharable side should be bigger vs the price. More of a selection of vegetables side dishes would add to the menu. Nice Ambiance
Excellent food! Exquisite service! Staff was great! Most menu items are Ala Cart. We had a few of the shimp appetizers then the Filet & lobster π¦ tail!π π the Martini was πWould not pass up a chance to experience Ruth Chris again! Well worth the money! Definitely 5 π 's!!
It was very cold inside for winter time All A.C. no heat. The food was delicious lamb chop were simply Devine π. I'll dine again if they turn on the heat.
Great food and service. Booked a room for a sweet 16. Food was well prepared. I had the tomahawk steak and lobster tail. The lobster was really well seasoned. The steak was tender for such a large cut. Price as expected.
Excellent dinner experience! The host was very welcoming and explained everything as this was our 1st visit. Every dang on bite was delicious from the bread to the desert.
My absolute favorite filet mignon! (Yes, that's butter in the picture! π) My husband takes me every year for our anniversary and/or my birthday. He enjoyed the salmon & shrimp, and we both love the shareable sweet potato casserole. Excellent service (always there when you need them, otherwise not hovering). Very nice atmosphere. Prompt seating & they do take reservations. I only wish the cost was $10/plate lower - we would go much more often. A steak with a glass of wine is over $50 per person. ($20/plate lower for the reg size filet & I would be there every single week!) Sad that the downtown Chicago location closed, but we found this really good one in the suburbs! Despite the price, I still highly recommend Ruth's Chris!
I had very high expectations. The food was very good but the price was higher than I have ever spent on a meal. So I expected it to be better tasting than it was. The service was impeccable. When I made the reservation, they asked for the occasion and I put "birthday" since I had been intending to take a friend whose birthday is 2 days after mine a month ago. I could not go at the time because I was so sick with a flu, that I went for a Covid test even though I am fully vaccinated. When we arrived at Ruth Chris, they were ready, having decorated the table, including a card. There was also a dessert treat! I did take home enough leftovers that I ate for 2 days and the food tasted even better than at the restaurant!
