Hidden Jem in Northglenn. This place has some of the friendliest staff and the best Japanese food around. Hidden in a non-descript strip mall off Washington and 116th I have never had a bad experience here - other than the muzak (lol).
Smaller restaurant but well worth the drive for no-frills Japanese food, especially the rice bowls.
Great!. I was in desperate need of a restaurant at 7:00 in Northglenn. I found this random little Japanese place on Urbanspoon, and I figured," What the heck, let's give it a try." It is nicely decorated with a mellow atmosphere, and I don't think that it gets much business, but I was pleasently surprised. It was really good. The waitress was polite enough, but she wasn't super warm and fuzzy. Overall, I liked this restaurant, and it definitely deserves more business!
Tokyo Teriyaki. We love it at tokyo teriyaki. we go there almost every friday night. they are so nice and friendly there. we go there so much they know what we want. my hubby loves the chicken bowl, spicy. and the hot tea. i get something different most nights. it is all really good. and the restaurant is so clean. as i say we love it there. they treat us like we are family. very nice.
Love this place. I've been going here for so long. I have never been disappointed. It's delicious, affordable and good service. The owner is very lovely and helpful. To go or dine in, it's one of my fav spots!
My favorite go to teriyaki! They don't deliver but you can order online for pick up. I ordered the Korokke (fried potato Croquette) panko crunch and heavy onion flavor no onions inside though. **New favorite** 😂. I also ordered the chicken with gyoza, chicken with beef steak(it only comes one way.I like my steak super well done but juicy in the middle no red at all). The veggies are always steamed with a crunch and good color. (It's carrots, broccoli and cabbage..they got me to eat cabbage 👏) The gyoza has a great crunch with a savory middle. The white rice helps with all the sauces. I am kinda allergic to mushrooms so the Udon soup spoonful I had was delicious if you like mushrooms( I'll be taking a benadryl later😂). They provide one thin teriyaki sauce for each plate. If you would like the thick teriyaki sauce you need to specify. White rice comes on the side.
My parents used to own a Tokyo Teriyaki when I was growing up. I was raised in this restaurant and ate many of my meals while working and helping out my family. I ordered the beef and chicken combination plate…I just literally had the ratatouille moment where the food critic was blasted back to his child hood…🥲🥲 I’m happy that places like this still exist and will be supporting this location as much as I can…🙏
Came here for the lunch special and was very impressed. The food was very tasty and affordable. The inside of this restaurant is much nicer than the outside appears. The dining room is very clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. The teriyaki sauce bottle on each table is a house-made recipe that you should not skip! We will be coming back here for sure!
Wow, what a huge surprise. From the outside, you would just think it’s another takeout place, like all the others. NOPE!! This place is a hidden gem. The food was very fresh and absolutely terrific. The staff was friendly and the restaurant very clean. It’s gets 4 stars after my first visit. If my second visit is as good as my first visit; I’ll have to upgrade my score to 5 stars. Highly recommend.
I get my son the gyoza plate probably once a month Cuz he loves it
I was hesitant going here, but glad I did. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. The dining area was very clean. It is way better then I expected.
My new favorite Japanese Fast Food location!!
Tasty dishes, always fresh, with quick and friendly service. The parking lot can get a bit full with this place gaining customers and notieriety.
