Great Burgers, good fries, good shakes, nice atmosphere. The burgers are top notch, no complaints there and the complimentary shelled peanuts are a nice touch, and they are delicious too.
However:
They cook the fries in peanut oil. Like I said they are good, but if they were cooked in beef tallow like they used to be, they would be excellent (and healthier to boot, contrary to common belief).
The shakes are good, but they are not the (so thick, you can barely drink it with a straw) shakes from the classic era and a little too much vanilla flavor in the vanilla shakes in my opinion.
Maybe they need "another guy" to take the restaurant to the classic level.....🤔
Stunning food this evening. The service was excellent. From the woman who took my order over the phone, to Jovante W., who rang up my order when I arrived, to the most delicious, dynamic dinner I have had in forever, tonight was - by far! - the best meal I've had this year. My compliments to the entire staff at Five Guys Northville. My meal was perfect, and my evening made much, much better by the wonderful food, and tremendous service. You can consider me a customer for life. Y'all do this thing right.
This was our first time at Five guys. It was an amazing experience.
The staff was amazing. The cashier was very friendly and had a smile on his face. Gave me the greatest idea for a milkshake that I absolutely LOVE.
We need to come again. I'm addicted 😬
I just have to share this experience. I placed an order online and I mistakenly picked this location instead of the one on 5 mile and Beck. I Immediately called this location and spoke to the manager on duty. She was so great! She said she would call the 5 mile and Beck store and give them my order. She didn't have to do that she could have just gave me my money back and let me deal with it. This interaction took place on 2/16/22 @ about 5:30p. I unfortunately did not get her name, but hopefully based on the time given someone can thank her for me!
Love the food but over priced. I really hate that all of these fast food places shove a tipping screen in your face when you pay with a card. If employers feel their employees are worth a tip, they should just pay them more.
