Silver Star is the most comfortable diner with the most comforting food that my family has ever experienced. In the 12 years we have lived in Norwalk we've had everything on the menu.
Every dish has been delicious and served in generous portions. It is the only place, including fancy restaurants, where we want to look at and order from the specials menu because each one always lives up to its name, with the Meat Loaf Tower doing so in a literal sense. Make sure you have a spotter and don't look down.
The service is always fast, the wait and managerial staff friendly (Gus makes you feel like you're in the home of a dear friend), and the atmospere is relaxed. It's more than a great place to go eat. It's a great place to go and treat yourself when you need to be pampered, to relax, and to have a good time.
Great food, amazing service. I just feel bad for the waiter we had because the group of entitled brats sitting behind us didn't tip him after wasting more than half of what they ordered. I've got one thing to say about the entire situation if you can afford to eat out you can afford to tip your waiter. This is becoming one of my new favorite diners in Connecticut and I will definitely be back.
Was pleasantly surprised with this diner! Was visiting from NH & wanted to eat at a kid friendly place. We sat down and was immediately given glasses of water & a complimentary three bean salad. My son spilled water on the table & before we could ask for some napkins, a nice gentleman who was super patient, was wiping our table down. Food was great. Service was fast. If we're in the area again, we will be back :)
Just what a diner should be! Great atmosphere, great staff, and a large menu of great food! If you're in the neighborhood, I suggest you stop in!

We happened to stop off the highway on our way to Rhode Island. Didnt realize it was going to be the best breakfast we ever had! Staff is very friendly too! Wish we lived closer...would definitely do again!
Fantastic food, service & cocktails! Traveling through Connecticut from New Jersey to Mass. Great decesion to stop for Breakfast & Dinner.

The owners and staff are wonderful, food is great. Our daughters sweet 16th birthday party in the banquet room was fabulous. My favorite dish is uncle Tom's .

Everyone is so gracious! Called ahead bc we were a group of 16 wanting to come on Saturday at lunch. No problem, I was told. We walked in, enjoyed a lovely lunch at an already set table, including room for 4 kids and a highchair. Thru even gave the kids balloons and a quarter each for the sticker machines! Very lovely staff. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Convenient for our family, some from LI and some in CT
Good food good service. And wow the pastry case you can not pass that up.

Wow its been an amazing start to you day here with the delicious freshly cook food just like you mom or grandma cook for the whole family. Ever bit was just happiness entering the body with Love yummy breakfast can wait to stop in again. This what a good Breakfast looks like!!
If I was to rate the food alone it was well priced and a HUGE Buffalo Chicken wrap which was excellent and delicious perfectly cooked fries. My service however was marginal, servers were rarely wearing masks and nor was the host seating people. Easy stop right off the highway for a quick meal during the workday, would return.
Place is very immaculate. Including the bathrooms.
Very reasonable prices. We are waited on immediately. And we received our older quickly.

One of is my favorite diners in Connecticut, very nice and professional guys work here, every time when I come here sometime I'm not lucky but I'm talking this personal here and I'm still lucky and not hungry, so I recommended for everyone this is very nice Greece family diner. 👌
