This is a awesome aquarium! It’s on the smaller side, but my family spent 2 hours looking around. The stingray tank is one of the best touch pools I’ve experienced, they’re very well taken care of. It’s only $3 to feed them too! This aquarium is probably best for families with young children, but it was still enjoyable as an adult. I appreciate all the love for the seals as well! It’s a great exhibit.
My favorite part was all of the octopuses, all three were pretty active. I got lots of great pictures.
The gift shop is also pretty affordable compared to other zoos/aquariums!
A big space but a pretty quick walk through. Different types of animals to see. Not too crowded when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Reasonable ticket prices. Gift shop, had a good selection. Cafe upstairs was nice. Food was fresh and the employees were very nice! Overall, nice place to visit if you are in the area.
I live in Norwalk and have a long history at the Maritime Aquarium! Words cannot describe how much I love and appreciate this place. I love the staff, the volunteers and most of all, the beautiful animals they have. A big highlight is being able to touch the stingrays and tiger sharks! Soooo fun! Definitely a must see place in the North East!
Great day trip for the entire family. They have an Imax theater, hands on with some of the fish and more. Its so fun you forget how much you learn while your their. We did the entire day and did entire aquarium and we will definitely be back again in the summer.
This place is beautiful and informative and there's so much to see. It's easy to park in the garage across the street. When we went there was an outdoor butterfly house. Theres a large area upstairs for smaller kids to run around and play with more sensory toys in a controlled environment. My favorite are the three sea turtles! It's also very clean and the gift shop is very nice. Love it!
Such a great place to bring the kids! From Sharks to sea turtles, there's so much to see at the aquarium. The staff is always ready to answer all questions and educate young minds. Affordable and easy to visit and park.
Absolutely amazingly fun place. Petty the animals was a wonderful experience. The 3D show was $$ but fun. The little cafe had allergy friendly food which was amazing and the staff were all helpful and kind.
Nice little gem in Norwalk, about 50 mins to 1 hour from NYC. It is big enough to have a good time but also small enough as to not get overwhelmed. My group ranging from 5 to 77 had a blast. There is parking across the street for $2/hour. We spent about 2 hours there, it wasn't super packed despite us going during winter break. It can get pricey for a group of 4, would likely get a membership next time.
