I happened to see this place while biking down Main St. and exploring Norwalk for the first time. Didn't know what to expect of the area cuz I'm not local whatsoever. I went in and the atmosphere was perfect, relaxed place with good music playing. I place my order for a small lunch plate and they (promptly) bring out a massive spread of not only what I ordered (pasta with shrimp) but a heap of some of the best rice I've had in a long time and a fresh side salad as well. It was some of the best food I've had in a very long time and I'll be going out of my way to go there again and again as long as I can.
I don't know why people are only giving 1 or 2 stars. We just went and had a very pleasant experience. People that say pupusas are thin but then again they are not empanadas where their supposed to have a large amount of filling.
I love this place. I don’t really know much about Honduran Cuisine. I’m glad I tried it because now I love it!!! The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. What I love most about Sabor de mi Pueblo (Taste of my Hometown) is its homey atmosphere which helps every dish I've enjoyed feel like a home cooked meal. The food is why I came, but the feeling of the place is why I stayed. I recommend that you try the food, you'll love it to. ;-)
Did not disappoint. Very typical and home made food, what i would expect Honduran food to be.
Been here twice, now, and it keeps getting better. I recommend the Lomo Saltado.
