Lovely place with great service & tasty meal! Coffee kept coming and we really enjoyed the great hospitality from the lady that served us yesterday morning.

I'm seriously surprised. I went here as a kid and always felt like it wasn't very good, but they must've changed chefs because now the food is great! I got the breakfast burrito and it was awesome. The ratio of eggs and veggies was perfect, it felt very healthy, and it tasted amazing. Great improvement, I'm definitely coming back again.
Classic American diner complete with a fun, spit-fire waitress. Food was good, a little on the pricey side, but maybe normal for the area. Seemed like a real locals place, which made it even better for us as tourists.

Decent food for American-diner style. Prices can't be beat. The service is usually good, sometimes a little slow. The only issue I've ever had was one visit where none of the tables appeared to be wiped off very well, but the waitress cleaned one more thoroughly at our request.
Nevermind only four stars, this place is a gem! 👍 Sometimes we go for authenticity of atmosphere, and this restaurant has it! If the food was a little bit better, I would give it a full five stars. This place is known and frequented it by locals.

There is plenty of food on the plate and it is very good. The prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately the lunch time service during the week is poor. Each time we have been there the waitress was alone in the entire restaurant. She is obviously overworked, under pressure, and projects an unhappy and rude demeanor. We have to wait a long time even to get a menu. The toilets need attention. The owner, rarely present, really needs to take some positive action.
A Novato staple, visiting after the redesign. I love that I'm always topped off and coffee and the food is consistent. I had the french toast special and it was very tasty. Our server was excellent, as always.
Server was nice and always came to check on us. Food items are some sort of mix between comfort food and Italian-American influenced plates. Came late in the afternoon and there was a sizable crowd despite how late it was.
I feel they can give the place a quick refurb to attract more clientele. Looks a little dated.
This place is great. There is a particular waitress (I dont know her name) whom is always very nice and pleasant. The food is very good, although more than half of the time I have to send it back because something isn't how I ordered it. But I keep going back because I truly like it.
