I have been dining at some of the finest restaurants most of my life. This New Years Eve dinner at Steve & Rocky's is now the finest #1 dinner I have ever had. The service was outstanding. The food though is the best I have ever had. Sturgeon is a delicacy very rare to find on a menu, they had it tonight. Compliments to the chef. Best prepared yet. Then starting it off with Chef Milo's recipe for the best cream of mushroom soup ever. You can't finish off 2016 better than this. Thank you Steve & Rocky's Happy New Year to you all.
The food is always consistently excellent it is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu changes regularly and maintains some tried and true dishes. The wait staff is always on point. The other aspect of Steve and Rockys is the catering which we have utilized for years especially at Christmas it is a phenomenal value.
Always been one of my favorite places! Had the chicken cordon blue. Fabulous as always! We eat here every new years eve too! And Thanksgiving would never be the same without Steve's fresh turkey straight from his farm. Awesome happy hour and a great place to meet friends!! Did I mention I love the staff?
Food was excellent and the server was very attentive. Could have done without the loud smooth jazz blaring in the dining room.
Had an amazing dinner at Steve and Rocky’s tonight. The chef came over to check on our meal. The general manager Michael was meeting and greeting all the guests. Felt like we were in someone’s home. Cynthia was an awesome waitress and took excellent care of us. Joined their club so we’ll be back!
I had dinner at Steve and Rocky’s last night with a large group. Everything we ate was fantastic. One bite better than the next! I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years. Always a great meal.

Excellent food, prepared to order, nice selection to please everyone in your party. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend trying this restaurant when in the Novi area.
Sunday dinner at the restaurant was for birthday celebration with family. The experience was wonderful. From the friendly, professional and attentive server Jennifer to the fresh, delicious and attractive presentation of the food. Pleased that we made the right choice.
Comfortable environment, excellent service, and the food was incredible. Absolutely loved this place.

Nice place to dine. First time dining at Steve & Rocky's and we enjoyed our experience. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive but not overkill so that was nice. I had the scallops and she had the spicy catfish. Both dishes were very good. The decor was full of colors and I haven't decided if I like or dislike the decor but nevertheless it was colorful. Good mix of people from casual diners to business folks. Very friendly atmosphere and the soft piano music playing in the background was relaxing. Very nice place for a dining night out.... enjoy.

Wonderful food, my wife and I tried it for the first time last night and we fell in love with the place. I had the braised short rib, she had the whitefish, we both could not stop complimenting on how good the food was. Very simple, yet inspired at the same time.
Best Restaurant in Novi!. I love Steve & Rocky's! I cannot get enough! They have the best lunch specials (~$10 give or take) which rotate daily. Not only is the food superb, but also the staff is fabulous! The staff is attentive and full of personality. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated in a funky kind of way, and the restrooms are spotless. You can tell a lot about the cleanliness of a restaurant's kitchen by how well the restrooms are maintained... there is a direct correlation.
Favorite Place. My husband and I went here last month for our anniversary and the food was excellent. I have never had a bad meal here in the 12+ years we've been going. I had the steak and he had perch. The butternut squash cheese cake was to die for. Love it here and will be back again
Even though the atmosphere is slightly confused. The food was GREAT. Nice menu selection, quiet live piano playing was a nice touch. The cracker crusted whitefish was spot on and the wife's smoked chicken was amazing.

GrandmaFlorida. Was in for lunch about 2 years ago for first time and enjoyed what ever it was I had at that time.
This week we returned after receipt in the mail of an invitation to return in honor of husband's birthday. Son and his date met us there. We all had different entrees.
Son worked at a Chuck Muir restaurant many moons ago as a baker. He has a bit of culinary experience and rated the restaurant as top notch! Had the smoked chicken over a brie sauced pasta that was out of this world! Hubby had a steak which was done to perfection and melted in his mouth almost. We loved the house salad and dessing with the whole walnuts sprinkled on top.
The best til last was the absolutely wonderful desserts which we were able to select from a sample tray. Waited a few minutes for the desserts as we ordered 4 separate kinds. All were beautiful to look at and even more wonderful to eat. The piano player kept us entertained and was able to accept requests.
All in all, we all decided that this was one of our best culinary experiences and will be back and telling our friends.
The Thursday "Girl's Night Out " is a great idea too.
Great soup - weird decor.. Didn't have an entree, just had the sample trio of soups. The gazpacho was amazing - I ate the whole "bowl" and I don't even like tomatoes! The mushroom soup, yum ... the onion, was great too - I did prefer the crunch ones on top (those in the soup were a bit soft).
Would definitely go back to try something else!

Went back for dinner - not going back again. The chicken so lemony and my steak was no where near medium the first time ... when it came back the second time the flavor wasn't very noteworthy.
Lobster served over gnocchi with artichoke and a cream sauce was delicious. Dining companion had the scallops, also very good. Looking forward to a return visit.
Perfect place for an anniversary with the kids. When we entered S&R's, we were struck by the interesting hybrid environment, which seemed like a cross between a family restaurant and a romantic spot. The waiter, Michael, was very pleasant, offering some helpful dinner suggestions. His knowledge of wine pairings was encyclopedic. He also kept offering to let us consider the menu and "relax". We actually felt compelled to kill the Malaysian prime minister. ;-)
We shared the yellowfin tuna and seared scallops. Both were excellent, cooked perfectly. The scallop sauce was divinely decadent. And the tuna, cooked rare, came with grilled pineapple...a hidden surprise.
Had we been more committed, we would've gone ahead and ordered the chocolate ganache, which requires 25 minutes' notice. You should go ahead and try it, and let us know.
We'd read in another review that the chef sometimes comes out to check on patrons in his chef outfit, but we were inquired of by a dude in a tie...what a gip!
Steve & Rocky's is the perfect balance of date night, meets accomplished chefs, meets comfort style American cooking. Can't wait to go back!
