Very decent Angus beef burgers with a generous serving of delicious fries. Also must try the Mother Of All Sandwiches. The clam chowder is alright’ish, nothing to write home about. Food can take a bit to come out, but it’s hot and fresh.

I adore this spot! They prepare awesome meals, they have a nice menu, The chef in that restaurant is a real pro, I love very much eating all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the guests is agreeable. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.

First of all, sweet potato fries were AMAZING! I got a salad which was HUGE! I don’t think I even ate half of it. My friends got chicken breast meals which looked great. It was cool to see others grilling their own steak on the black stones. Would defiantly go back!

Long, long, long wait. It was sweetest day and we had a 2 hour wait. We had to wait in our car. When the time came to an estimated 0 minute wait, we went inside. We asked how much longer it would be, as we had waited over two hours. The manager said not much longer as there were campers not leaving.
He then came up to us and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer. It was so nice of him and it was delicious. Our waitress was so nice and brought us everything super fast. She was having a rough night that night but was still so kind to us.
My girlfriend loves this place and I think I do too. Even with the crazy prices it was worth it.

It's a fun novelty but as a restaurant it's expensive and not that great. The dessert is wonderful though.
That said the food was decent but not really worth the price you'll pay here. As a novelty to experience when you're in town I would say its good.
I did notice a lot of people weren't ordering the slabs. Maybe that was my mistake. Next time I'm in town I'll try a normal menu item and get the desserts after.

Never been so embarrassed! Went to this place about a month ago for my birthday because my nephew bought me a gift card and they said that they don’t accept gift cards because there has been a run of scams lately. IT WAS THEIR GIFT CARD PURCHASED AT THE HARTLAND LOCATION!! I’m almost 50 years old, I’m not scamming you, you have got to be kidding me. Really disappointed by this Michigan based company.

Really nice concept. It's similar to a Korean BBQ where one can cook their own food. The difference at Black Rock is that every individual have their own rock marble slab to cook the food. The temperature of the marble rock is at about 770°F when served. I had the the tuna steak. It was served with wasabhi, chili soy sauce and their traditional butter garlic sauce. According to me, when you receive the slab always rub it nicely with the butter garlic sauce and then place your meat, so that it doesn't stick to the marble slab. Along with the tuna steak, I took the sweet potatoes which were served with caramel syrup and my second side was the clam chowder. The clam chowder was also very good. Overall it's an experience to be witnessed and enjoyed.

We had the priority seating. It still took over an hour to get seated. When we did get seated the table still had the previous party’s used dishes on the table. We had to ask them to wipe down the other table as they only wiped down 1. The service was extremely slow (took over an hour to get our food once we ordered) and some of the food was cold. Our waitress never apologized for anything and didn’t see if we could be compensated. She never even told us thank you for coming at the end of the night. Most awful black rock I’ve ever been to. Definitely will not be going back.

Went on Father’s Day 2018. The floor was soooo greasy my husband almost fell pushing me in my wheel chair. I skated all over the place in my chair. Floors were gross. The booth was also a soild grease mess. Our clothes were ruined from sliding in on the booth seats. Tables also need to be scrubbed down. Food was good but i was pretty grossed out by how dirty it was and how hot it was. Air was not working well and with six 755 degree rocks around the table it was unbearable.

I was very eager to try this restaurant as it seemed like an interesting concept. We schedule ahead for a table days in advance and were awarded with a 45min wait. Things happen so we had a drink which was not so simple as the bartender was oblivious to the end of the bar.
So we were finally seated after literally ice skating to the table. The grease on the floor was unbelievable. I am not kidding about the skating.
I will say our server Mike was great and the pretzel appetizer was very tasty.
It was Father’s Day so my kids brought a Bill Knapp’s cake with them... you’d think we were smuggling drugs or something. I can understand not allowing us to eat it there but Mike said he would put it in the fridge for us.... Well that didn’t sit well with the Manager who brought it back to our table and falsely cited it was a health code violations to put it in the cooler.... really you can stick a 700 degree rock in front of a child but can’t put a sealed cake box case in a fridge for an hour? Can anyone say power trip?
I gave him the shut up look and just shoo’ed him away before he could go on.
So everything I’ve heard about the manager appears to be true... I had several friends and seen reviews that clients don’t come first and that the manager isn’t accommodating to the patrons.
You’ll want to come in dressed for a warm to hot experience as the air is very limited or set high and they have no ceiling fans which is the first thing I’d do to the place other than cleaning everything!
As far as the main course stake was just ok. I don’t think it’s a real stake lovers place regardless of the sales pitch
The best value is the steak and lasagna. I’d stay away from the tuna as it wasn’t fresh and with no seasoning is nothing special. Overall it’s a one and done. Nothing at all impressive or something you’ll want to come back for...
Mike you rock but sorry you have to work for what I’m guessing is the owners son or nephew. the poor attitude of the manager was not something I expect when dining out at any point but especially with a group of 7.
Hope this will make other think twice before they venture out.
If you are looking for a great meal especially steak and awesome service Andiamo’s in WB always is excellent.
....And just to close with it wasn’t a horrible time I actually had an awesome time due to the people not the place!

Upon arrival, it looked as if we would have a good visit (party of 6). We were seated right away but had to wait 15 minutes to be greeted and drinks ordered. It took 10 minutes to bring back non-alcoholic beverages then order was taken and had to wait 50 minutes to receive “black rocks” to cook food on. Waiter never checked on us until after we received food then brought bill and came back every 5 seconds. Very disappointed and unprofessional service. I will probably never return to that location. Don’t go there if you want good service and food. Not worth it at all

Black Rock has always been good in our opinion. This last visit was even better. I think they made some small changes, and they were improvements. The side salad was better than before (not that it was bad before) and the cuts of steak we got were extra lean. Keep it up!�

Food is great, prices are a bit on the higher side for what you get. Bubbling shrimp were extremely salty, and $12 for 8 medium sized shrimp isn't worth it. Steak on the other hand was good.

This location is Horrible the waitstaff is rude and disrespectful and they don't accommodate large parties... Attended a engagement party that was supposed to be for 60 people and they had the whole party sitting at different tables but overall food was good just terrible service
