Highly recommend this place!!
Every time I visit, there seems to be an improvement especially with their lunch sushi buffet. $10.95 is a great deal for such high quality rolls with soup and salad.
Their dinner prices are more up there, so I recommend going on Monday nights for their 20% family discount!!
I flew into town for my birthday and my Sister and Brother-in-law took me to Genji for my Birthday. The service was amazing and our food was the best I've had at a Hibachi grill. Our Hibachi chef, Mada was funny and interactive and our server, Brianna was absolutely fantastic. The manager Reza came over to introduce himself and was very personable. My Sister and her husband will be back and I definitely will be back when I'm in town. I would highly recommend it!

First time there and I thought everything was very good (service, food, chef did a great job cooking in front of us). Had teriyaki chicken, the yum yum sauce was yum yum!!
Had dinner here for my daughters bday. Had wine at the bar, service and wine were awesome. Our chef was great and food was fabulous!
Hands down my favorite restaurant of all time! Teriyaki chicken and crabmeat cheese ragoons are delicious! Husband loves all the sushi! Highly recommend eating here.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my Beautiful Granddaughter's 16th Birthday at Genji Japanese Steakhouse in Novi. The service was excellent and the food was excellent. This is a place we will definitely return.

It has been a long time since I ate sushi. My wife and I heard about this place and decided to go and try it.
The place is really nice and clean. The waitress was so welcoming and very nice. She suggested to us a few things to try from the menu.
They are very clean and their serving plates are so unique. The food was delicious and was ready quickly. We tried their KAMIKAZE and Blossom rolls. The kamikaze was spicy the way I like it but the Blossom was ok. However the blossom was torched which made is really great.
Our family truly enjoyed the experience and food. Jake and Prens were an amazing team. Both were able to build rapport with our family, especially our one son who has some emotional and sensory issues! Truly wonderful to see the kindness and understanding.
We did a carry out last night. It’s was excellent.
We love this restaurant. It saddens me to read all of these negative reviews. I wish people would be more understanding of the situation at hand.

My husband was craving seafood, steak, and sushi for his birthday. Never imagined I'd fine a quality place with all 3. We did take out and the food was absolutely incredible, with very sizeable portions for the price. Looking forward to a post-covid world where we can dine in. Definitely recommend.

Our dining experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Even during covid the staff were all very friendly with prompt service and delicious food in a cool and modern atmosphere. Highly recommend for dining in but the food was so good that I’d order takeout from here as well. Enjoy!
Went here with the family today for their hibachi grill. Great atmosphere, good food, although many of the yummier options were not available on the menu. Very large portions of food so I think the price is appropriate. I'm not sure why they charge so much extra for the halal meats when those aren't that much more expensive in the market!
