They must have a new chef and I don't like it. Too salty Wonton soup, egg rolls doughy instead and fried rice BLAND. Also if you order a dinner with white rice they don't refill for free if you run out. This USED to be my fav place in town. Not anymore. Don't like it now. I'll have to make the drive to Golden House in Howell. Greatest place ever.

Scott. I've had their food a few years ago and was disappointed with the price and the food at that time wasn't that good. But compared to the other local Chinese restaurant, The Great Wall, I'd go to Ka Hing's. The food has improved quit a bit, and the prices are much cheaper than The Great Wall's prices. The lack of sit down patron's isn't an issue with me, as I would rather take it home. The Great Wall's almost always crowded during the prime meal times and the service is really slow. plus their prices are not cheap enough for those on a budget. Sure, more customers in house shows popularity, but it also shows that not many people know about their options. I can walk down to Ka Hing's and if I need to I can shop at the dollar tree there while waiting for my order. So , yes, I recommend Ka Hing's. .

Bye bye. This WAS my hometown Chinese restaurant. Finally got tiered of "can't have this -can't have that" . Do yourself a favor and travel 1 mile down the road to New Royal Wall. beck and Pontiac Tr. Much better quality quantity at a reasonable price.

Very bad. I created an account on this site just to review this restaurant. The first red flag was the empty parking lot. After entering, I was met with a strange smell that I can only describe as rotten pepper. I had take out which, upon opening, permiated my dining room with the same strange stench. My chicken dish had a strange tangy taste which was very off putting. Long story short, I returned the food and got my money back. This was a terrible experience and I highly recommend that no one waste their money here.

Kind of ticked me off. I used to drop in all the time when I lived in Walled Lake. I liked the specials, reasonably priced for lunch. However I took my 10 year old son there a couple of times for dinner (just me and him) and they refused to work with me to do a half-order for him. They even refused to let my son order from the smaller portion lunch menu, because it was dinnertime. The dinner items are WAY more expensive than the lunches I was used to getting. There were no kid menu options at all, and my child has a small appetite, so I ended up ordering two entire adult entrees and taking most of it home. Chinese does not reheat that well.

Food is good here but the value is what made me quit going to Ka-Hing. If they are going to be a hole-in-the-wall at least they need to offer options that will make people with families come back. They aren't outstanding so I found a different place to go. Simple economics.

Great Chinese Food - Better Price!. All/most of the meals between $5-$6 for Lunch Combos. (A GREAT START) I had the Steak Kow (Chinese Vegetables and pieces of beef/steak) it was delicious. The fired rice was good, the egg roll was OK although it may have been overcooked a bit. Overall a good deal!
