Exceptionally welcoming and friendly service. Staff seemed to know many patrons. On the small side, so might get busy during peak meal times. Terrific blueberry pancakes. Plenty of parking. Open kitchen; everything was very clean.

Its my fav place to have. Oatmeal. And toast. ANd to add to it all its really. Really cheap. I love the place.

The Over Easy Cafe/ Oakland Park. I cannot disagree with the "food critic" in any way, shape or form. Personally, I have only discovered this gem within the past 2 weeks and I have been there twice.
The first time I had a cup of soup and a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich (I don't think I've had one so good in ages!
The second time was for actual breakfast and I had the most wonderful fruit bowl filled with FRESH grapes, honeydew, watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries. This was followed by awesome pancakes.
Third time I had eggs benedict that were absolutely marvelous.
The coffee here is quite good and very robust which makes me wonder where the previous reviewer normally drinks his coffee, because weak it was not--And splenda? Get a grip buddy--I'm shedding tears for you now.
Lastly, as a concierge at a local resort I feel 100% secure sending my guests to eat at The Over Easy Cafe. Not one party has come back to me disappointed.
I hope this rather lengthy review will encourage others to see and taste The Over Easy's wonderful team.
Bright and Clean. I loved the people and the food it is like being at home . Special orders no problem, the pies are to die for ,the burgers are never frozen , every thing is made to order. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!

Friendly and good. I go to breakfast here every weekend. Only after a couple of times going the waitress asked my name and now the whole staff greets me when I come in. They're very friendly, good prices, and the BEST biscuits and sausage gravy.
Just like home. Every one knows everyone family owned,the best brownies in town ,everything is homemade ,special orders on problem, very clean and the most beautiful air brushed mural i have ever seen. Love the place $5.00 special everyday also.

Good place ood food and good nice people the only hiccups is they brought us the wrong order they did fix but not sure what was the reason so had to wait a bit longer and also no kids options in the menu , other than that evetything else was good tasty food.
I have to like the Over Easy Cafe because all my friends say I am Overly Easy, hmmm. I like this cafe because it has grit and spirit but is still welcoming. This is not one of those fancy diners but the way I see its an egg is an egg. This is one of the few respectable places you can escape for less than $10-12. I was not a fan only of the pancake which was a little dense but then again friends say I am too.
Best meat loaf in South Florida for only 10 bucks. Can you imagine? This little gem has been here for over 20 years as I can remember eating here when I was young and sprite. Now as an older person I really appreciate the quality of the food and everything seems to be homemade. I haven’t found anything here that wasn’t fantastic.
I stopped in for breakfast. This is a small diner in a strip mall, there are 10 stools at the counter and 8 booths. There are nice murals on the walls. Our breakfast was very good, and the place was very clean and quiet.

Hidden gem. First time here today. The food is YUM and very affordable and the PEOPLE are amazing. I met Kathy, the owner. She knew every single customer and chatted with them all. My family had a great experience. Make sure you arrive before 1pm in the weekend
Home made flavor with a neighborhood feeling! Meeting place for an entire community that show the diversity of Wilton Manors, Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale. Very reasonable prices, and very accommodating for people like me with dairy allergies. If you are new in the area this is great place to meet other people who will welcome you with open arms. This is a family owned restaurant, with a lot of passion and hard work dedicated to it.
This spot is like CHEERS, a place where everyone knows your name, and it feels like you walked into a friend's home to grab a bite. Family owned and operated, good breakfast and lunch (not open for dinner).
We realized how much we miss our weekly breakfasts at Over Easy Cafe ever since we moved away from the area. All their food is fresh and delicious. I love the sausage skillet and my wife loves their egg and cheese. Definitely try one of fresh homemade cakes caramelized on the grill!
Very small no frills diner. Good food. Reasonable prices. Only a handful of booths...minimum party of 2 to sit at them. Otherwise stool counter seating. Wide variety of menu items. Friendly staff.
We love this little gem! The owner is awesome and knows pretty much everyone by name. She gives you the feel of a small town place in a hustle-bustle area. The food is always great and priced moderately. I tried the pork tenderloin (country fried with eggs and hashbrowns this time... DELICIOUS and TENDER! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
