I've been here before but on my daughters 18th bday we had a craving about 2 weeks after we went to Roscoes in LA..we initially felt it was much better there, but I must say Embarcaderos version stepped it up! Food was brought fast and it was piping hot! Waitress was so sweet. Customer service was good. Food was da bomb! Large size portions..not stingy at all with the food! I also loved that at midnight I could get some food..they stay open till 4am on Saturdays! I was first concerned to be in Oakland that late, but they keep security outside the door..and they were very courteous..made me feel safe to be eating there with my daughters so late.Kudos to the owner for doing his thang!
You must be patient if you come on Sunday...this was my first time here with my friends..we ordered bottomless mimosas while we waited! I had the Angie's special,it was amazing! I usually never finish all my food because they always give so much, I ate it all cause it was that good! Will return for sure

Yummy food, lovely customer service. Also reasonably priced. Homestyle waffle and chicken meals, I had the chicken and waffles with strawberries and cream. it came with a side of grits. Soooo good!
