Black Bear Diner - Oakland - Photo album

Cute and delicious. Love the bear theme and story. Portions are quite large so we wasted a lot of food (which I do not support). Great customer service. Close to the airport. Clean and safe.
Prices are really high compared to what they were just even a year or 2 ago. I guess elections have consequences though, but anyway the food was good as usual, enjoyed the soup and a tuna melt sandwich for about 20$ Service was good and prompt as well.
I love coming here every time!!!! Food here is always clean, staff members here are professional and polite
Great option for breakfast with a huge variety. I got the Eggs Benedict with caffe and orange juice. Eggs were on point making the dish even more delicious. I will come back for sure.
While a typical diner from the outside, what's really special about this place are the people that work there. Notably, the father-daughter duo that managed operations. Their service was outstanding, even allowing this drained out Pearl Jam fan to charge his phone before heading over to the nearby A
Love Black Bear Diners, and this one was no exception. Came here for breakfast with my family. Our server was excellent. The food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. Portion sizes were generous. Food was delicious.
They get the job done, I order eggs add cheese, hash browns, and wheat toast. I prefer chicken or turkey sausage. None of those options are available. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a plus. Food isn’t cheap, but will get the job done.
Server girl who had long black hair and big hoop earrings was awesome. Food was excellent. Sorry we didn't tip more. We forgot her name. We will be back. Glad nobody broke into our car. Lock your vehicle and take valuables with you. In da hood yo!
