Most certainly a down home Maine experience! If you're looking for a great breakfast place with great prices and great service, than you've found it here! The Early Bird in Oakland is the best....I recommend the grilled muffin top to start! If you see a Veteran there, pay for their breakfast, it's the least you can do!!

They are fast and efficient! The person I went with loves burnt toast with runny eggs. Believe it or not, it can be difficult to get that combo right yet it was spot on. Mine was also just right. Thanks folks it was great.
Best diner for miles. Delicious comfort food. Delightful servers and staff. Each of our foursome ordered something different, and no one was disappointed. We went for lunch, but the breakfast menu was available as well. Great experience.
Sooooooo good! Friendly and fast service. Always excellent food. Worth the wait if get there when it's crowded which is often. Best raisin toast around!!!
