I wish I could rate this restaurant as six stars. My husband and I are big "foodies" and it's not easy to find a lot of diverse culinary options in our area. The meal and service was divine. We went for a special dinner and were not let down. From the appetizer to dessert, they took special care of us and the quality of ingredients and plates were outstanding. I can't wait to go again. You will be remised if you skip the truffle mashed potatoes. We were lucky foie gras was on the menu as well!

Oh this place is killer! I specially love coming for brunch on Sundays. Your candied bacon is awesome! No matter what I order I must have some of that on the side. It's always a pleasure coming here.

Dined there on Friday, June 1st. Cod special was amazing. The food is always excellent! It's hard to pick a favorite as we've enjoyed so many of the dishes. Perfectly sized portions and the sauces are amazing. I recommend the creme brûlée for desert. Staff and service are very attentive and professional. Owner Patrice personally checks on every table to ensure his guests are satisfied. A great treasure in Ocala!

Upscale dining that you would expect from a French establishment pulled out straight from France. Ocala, FL is lucky to have an option of this caliber. I'm born and bred in Boston and travelled all around...this is a gem sitting in the midst of a demographic across old, older and young alike. An overall dining experience at par with the best across North America: a mixologist bar tender named Pablo; a server comparable to the usual 5 star restaurants named Kevin; and, the restauranteur slash chef-in-charge-if-need-be slash I'm-the-man born, bred, and trained in France named Patrice have truly made the entire "I want to consume great food, drink great drinks and spend the money worth of such ask!"

Our favorite food in town! Elodie and Patrice are a dynamic duo of hospitality and fantastic cuisine! Sunday Brunch needs no introduction...makes a great date night or place to get a fantastic glass of wine. They have wine tastings about once every two months and it is worth the drive!

I went for the mussels and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service excellent. My server was gracious and attentive, and made perfect suggestions for wine with dinner. Can't wait to dine here again.

The food is delicious with fresh seafood from the Gulf. The creme brulee . Even the coffee is excellent. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. And both times we were there, the owner spoke with us inquiring if everything was okay. We will definitely be returning.

This is an AMAZING place. I got the strawberry basil french toast, and let me just say, this is the BEST restaurant you will ever go to. The waiters are nice, the food came rather swiftly, and the service in general is amazing. Also, if you get an outside seat, you have an amazing view. Also great prices. If your looking for a brunch in ocala, this is the place for you.

Atmosphere: French music with romantic undertones. Food: Scallops Perfectly sealed with sauteed leafy greens, bacon, and fresh tomatoes. Delicious starter. Duck Breast: Delicious duck breasts with very little char on the edge. The risotto was excellent, sun-dried tomatoes added a bit of sweetness to it that went excellent with the duck. Beef Bourguignon: Tender beef. A little bitterness, I presume due to the wine. Truffle Mash Potatoes: Excellent choice to share. Please add this to your meal. Service: Excellent and knowledgeable about the food and its influence. Final thoughts: Nice decor and ambiance for a semi-romatic quite dinner and great conversation.

An absolute gem! We eat here regularly and have been for the past 2 years since moving to Ocala. Never have had a bad experience. Food is always amazing and we love the high end atmosphere. We usually come for brunch but the dinner service is excellent as well.

Our first night here, loved the live French music. The crab stuffed shrimp appetizer was just okay, not season but the lemon butter sauce saved it. The rest of the entrees were also lacking in seasoning, although they did have tableside salt and pepper. The sauces were very tasty

A friend suggested we try this restaurant out. Glad they did. I had the French onion soup. It was delicious, probably the best I've had. The escargot was also delicious and cooked perfectly. My friend had the boeuf bourguigon and loved it. Will definitely go back when we visit Ocala again.

Just Amazing. Stopped in Ocala overnight and dined here. Our lucky day. La Cuisine would deserve 5 stars in any metro area. not just Ocala. Our swordfish and cassoulet were perfect, verging on best ever. Service was low key, unobtrusive and excellent. If we lived here, we would be regulars. This is absolutely a don't miss restaurant.

Great cute restaurant and true French flavors. The only problem is the waiters or staff don’t speak French. Otherwise fabulous

I'm only giving atmosphere a 3 because we were in a private room and it was a little claustrophobic. It was a beautiful room. There were just too many of us. I love this restaurant. The food and service are always good. Our server went out of his way for us. We were a LOT to handle. On second thought, we deserved to be in that room. 😉

Had brunch today at La Cuisine and it was spectacular. Arrived at opening without a reservation (not recommended) knowing it was popular but took a chance and were seated rather quickly. We all tried different items and insisted on sharing after each of us ooohhh’d and aaahhh’d after our first bites. Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, and Colombian coffee were each absolute perfection. Desserts were so delicious I had to take one home to share with the hubby that couldn’t make it. Service was from all the staff was was excellent from start to finish. I can’t wait to return, and work my way around the menu!

My wife reserved a spot for my birthday. My sister was visiting and also attended. Staff seated us quickly and were very attentive. The dinner was excellent. We started with escargot as an appetizer. Then, my sister and I shared a lamb shank, while my wife had the bouilibase. And, for dessert, we all shared a creme brulee. Overall we had a great time. It is the type of place where you relax and enjoy a conversation while waiting for a leisurely meal.

We were a party for two on Thanksgiving. The food was outstanding. The foie gras with gingerbread, yum. I had the casoulet, excellent. The duck confit, sausage, and pork belly all were to my liking. My mother had the Thanksgiving turkey special, which featured a turkey roulade. She enjoyed each aspect of the dish. I could only rate our experience as 4 stars based on the lack of enthusiasm or attempt to engage by our server, Shawn. I listened as a nearby server, Ryan, spoke in detail and enthusiasticly about each dish. Our server did no such thing, we had to pull any elaboration from him. Too bad. He also left an empty cocktail glass on our table throughout service. We'll be sure to request seating in Ryan's section next time. We had great interaction with a young male busboy, couldn't have been friendlier. The owner was approachable as well.

This place is truly wonderful! They staff is very professional and polite and the food is delicious. It was my first time trying frog legs and I was impressed, they tasted really good especially with lemon garlic sauce. I also ordered pork with gratin potatoes and the flavor was just amazing. They have a really good chef!
