Took my family to Marks Prime for my sons 21 birthday. I wanted it to be special, and boy was it. We had Nick as our waiter and he was the best. The steaks were fantastic along with the sides. It was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to eat.
Nice place, low lighting really good food had a nice steak, and loaded baked potatoes with a salad all was good, our server was the best if we dropped a breadcrumb on the table he was there to pick it up I would love to go there again
Exellent menu, food and service. High end place that feels comfortable. My wife and I eat at the bar often during the week and have dinner with friends on the weekends. Marks never disappoints!

Mark's Prime was recommended to us by a relative and Ocala resident. We are Michigan residents, wintering is Salt Springs and searching for a very special Restaurant for a very special Occasion. Very high marks for ambiance, cuisine, and staff. Enos, our waiter was friendly and informative, as well as attentive. You cannot go wrong with this establishment. Six stars out of five!
We had a great Fathers Day dinner with you all last night. Food was amazing and worth every dime. My dad enjoys his steak cooked as a Pittsburgh Medium Rare. They did this to perfection. Thank you.

Marks is our special occasion go to place. Excellent food and service- consistently.
It was dinner for my Girlfriends birthday. Hands down best restaurant I have ever been to. Loved the setting and the food was exquisite.

It is excellent but the prices are high! Enjoyed sitting outside looking at the square. Would be a once in awhile not an everyday type place because of the cost. They do have valet parking!
We went here for our anniversary. We arrived early, and they were able to seat us before our scheduled time, but that in part because we chose patio seating.
Our server was super friendly and very responsive.
The only downside to patio seating was all the additional noise that came with a hustle and bustle of weekend activities. Aside from that, it was comfortable and clean.
I ordered salmon and was super happy with the flavor alone, I didn't need to add their dressing. My husband had steak and had no complaints. We also ordered two sides, jalapeño potatoes and brussel sprouts, would also recommend them.
My only complaint was that there are a lot of seafood choices for appetizers, which all looked great, but unfortunately, I am allergic.
Overall, we would definitely go back. Our next time, we will choose indoor seating.
Would recommend for any occasion.

Best steak I have ever had in my life!!! Arugula salad was the best. Our waiter was stop on. If in Ocala again will HAVE to indulge in this incredible steak. It was also our anniversary and they brought up a lovely comp chocolate mousse- yum!

Located in downtown Ocala, FL., these is a well known established steakhouse. By error I reserve in Gainsville, so we ended eating by the bar in Ocala. Our luck is that we ended sitting to the side of a famous, and one of my favorite Latin singer lady ( no name for respect of privacy ).
Very busy restaurant. Service is ok. Slow but very respectful. Some bartenders need to be instructed better on libations and service. Variety of liquors and wine is not excellent, but acceptable.
Food presentation is flat. Nothing fancy. But the flavors and quality of the food is impressive, which will make me come back. Probably one of the best filet I had.
Appetizers are also excellent but again lacking presentation.
Overall the food makes this place a 4.5 on the scale. Can improve more.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable anniversary dinner. The menu is varied. While the offerings are what you would expect from a fine dining Steakhouse, the items we sampled were prepared with a high level of care and imagination. If you're not opposed to spending a little more for a nice experience I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Staff was amazing, I've finally found an old fashion in Ocala that's done properly. The escargot was delicious, and the bread was perfect. We only had appetizers at the bar, but the ambiance was great and made me feel like I was in a premium steak house. The bathrooms were clean, and the booths looked spacious. Also, I absolutely love the hostess sign. Truer words have never been spoken about what role a hostess has.
Ian was our waiter and he made us feel welcome and very good service 👏 😀. Definitely recommend if you want exceptional service and quality food!
Went for Valentine’s Day dinner, we ordered the fresh grouper and a steak with shrimp, and for the sides, we had the beet and feta cheese risotto and grilled asparagus. It was all great tasting! For dessert, my husband had the banana nut bread pudding and he absolutely loved it. Awesome service and great tasting food! Will go back!
I was amazed how delicious the food tasted. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service was great. The lamb chops were very juicy and tasty. Our waiter Ian was the best. The entire experience overall was wonderful for my husband and I first time dinning at this establishment. The manager to my surprise was very nice and pleasant. We will be returning.

This place was simple yet elegant. I went for my birthday with my parents. Or server Mrs. Melinda was amazing her presence and opinions added to the night and she made us feel welcome and very taken care of. We got 2 appetizers, 3 Entrees, 3 sides, and 6 drinks from the bar it was like the bartender new what we wanted and he even mixed it up the second go round just refreshing especially sense they didn’t grace alcohol in them. The sides and appetizers where my favorite which consisted of
Appetizers: lobster escargot, bacon wrapped scallops
Sides: Grilled Brussel Sprouts, Sautéed Spinach, and Grilled Asparagus
The Entrees where good especially the risotto I had with my big sea scallops. My dad had lamb which he said was alright only because he doesn’t know the right way to order meat because he got it well done when he should have gotten medium well. My Mom got the Grouper SantaFe which she said was good but she felt as if it needed a little more flavor, but it was very tender. In the end we got 2 peach cobblers which where out of this world delicious. The only reason that we wouldn’t come back is because we didn’t feel welcome by the other workers nor the manager that was walking around until the end when we where saying by to Mrs. Melinda did he say good bye as well as another worker.
We were part of a large group. There were plenty of wait staff (friendly & efficient). The food came out hot for everyone & prepared to perfection. We'll definitely be back!
