We went early on a workday (5:30pm) and there were not many people there yet - which was nice! The salad/hot bar was excellent with a lot of great choices. But, as expected, the meats were sooooo good! Our table, of 4, all thought the top sirloin was the best. Two of us liked meat medium and 2 liked medium rare and they were great at offering us both. The brisket was also excellent. The environment was very nice, the house BV wines and liquor coffee were great. We've anticipated eating here for a long time and it did not dissapoint! Wish I could remember our server's name as he was very attentive also. Sounds like, from other reviewers, going at an off time, and with less people, is the best way to experience this restaurant. Pricey place, but worth every penny! Can't wait to go again!
I had never eaten at a Brazilian Steakhouse before. The salad bar is amazing, so was the service. The food was spot on. Only one meat was a little too salty.There were so many to taste that it didn’t matter. Making this our special place to go to for celebrations.
Best food and service ever! Service was so good! Steaks,lamb, pork it was all spectacular! Ambience was beautiful! I recommend that you go you won’t be disappointed!

Very good service, even better food. Rookie mistake, I took too much at the salad bar!! Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon and Lamb Chops were out of this world. Loved the grilled pineapple 😊👍
We enjoyed brunch yesterday at Ipanema. Everything was delicious, from the amazing salad bar, the flavorful, tender cuts of meats, and the grilled pineapple that is beyond scrumptious. Thank you for making our special occasion so special. Can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Every single time I’ve gone, the service has been beyond excellent. We actually ate at Texas de Brazil the other night and it was nowhere near in comparison of Ipanema. The meat and salad bar are top notch! Looking forward to eating here again for Valentine’s Day!!
I took my husband there for Father's Day on Saturday. He had never been there. The food was AMAZING and the staff were great. Even the kids enjoyed it!!!! It is well worth the money and experience. We will be back for the amazing food.
Fabian and the Ipanema crew catered my stepsisters wedding last night and the food was AMAZING!!! I cannot wait to visit the restaurant as well! Highly recommend for catering! They handled all the food and it was all delicious! I would give 10 Stars if that were possible! Thank you again for serving our family and friends!
Had dinner tonight and it was perfect! Food and service were spot on. Maria was wonderful!!!! The manager checked on us often and was very charming. We will be back. �����
We went for thier Thanksgiving dinner and WOW! 10 stars! EVERYTHING was perfection, the service, the food, the drinks, and the dessert. I would recommend them time and time again.
The food was great, I came for the lamb, it was a bit of a wait but when it came out it was good and HOT. The bacon wrapped chicken was great. The service was fair but nothing special. Our waiter had a big group in the other room, so that may have been why. We each bought a bunch of desserts. None of us were fans of the passion fruit dessert, but hey, it was just different. I bet many would. We came in late, around 8 pm, and stayed till about 10. My family loved it, and I can't wait to go back.

What a fun place to go for a special occasion! Went for my son's birthday and first thing when you are seated, they ask if you are celebrating anything. He doesn't like any fuss, so he said no, but I did notice a few other tables having a dessert brought to them with a candle for other celebrations. Lots of great food for the price. They came around to our table with the house sirloin within 5 minutes, even before getting our drinks, and it was tender with great seasoning. The salad bar had lots of choices (a person in my party stated that it was the best salmon he had ever tasted that he got from the salad bar) and they had a side bar as well that had breads, rice, garlic mashed, Mac and cheese and beef stroganoff. For dessert we got the chocolate Nirvana cake and the flan, both were tasty. Staff was attentive and polite. I recommend making a reservation, when we first walked in the waiting room was full but we were brought right in to our table. When we left, the waiting room was still full of people! Only thing is the parking lot is on the small side, but there is lots of parking on the street behind the restaurant. We will definitely be back at another date to enjoy this place!
For special occasions, you can't do better than Ipanema. I have yet to bring someone here who wasn't impressed. The salad bar is so good that my pescatarian wife is more than happy to join me as I feast on the never-ending choices of deliciously roasted and seasoned meats.
We just celebrated my nephew's birthday here last night and it was exceptional. They asked if it was a special occasion, and quietly surprised us with ice cream at the end of our night.

While this place may seem a bit pricey the food and service are impeccable. You will not leave disappointed nor hungry. The baked pineapple is a must try if you have never experienced it. They not only have beef but lamb and chicken as well. The service is super and you never have to wonder when the next selection is coming as they are extremely attentive. One last point, make sure to call ahead for a reservation. They are always busy.
First time here, came for a work function. The meat was delicious. I had the garlic pork, garlic steak, sausage, and bacon wrapped chicken. It was all delicious. Unfortunately, they don’t have lots of options when it comes to meat. The salad bar was plentiful with lots of options. The only I did not like was our waiter who was a bit rude and wasn’t too friendly. They need to brush up on their customer service skills.
Food was spectacular, the server Roger was very attentive and on point. The gentlemen serving the meat were wonderful and courteous as well. The meat was out of this world, packed with flavor and plentiful. Definitely not for those who like well done steak. Salad bar was fresh and delicious. A wide variety. The cinnamon pineapple is a must try!!! This being our first time and anniversary, Roger made it a delightful and memorable experience with his service and a hospitality. We will definitely be returning.
Really a gem in Ocala! Food was delicious! We arrived from out of town, later than planned, and the staff was still attentive, friendly, and the food was amazing! Excellent night out! Our picky daughter ate more in that one meal than she did all month! The pineapple was everyone's favorite!
Everything was good. Nothing really stood out as being great, with the exception of the grilled pineapple. That was a favorite of our group. The restaurant was packed and it seemed like everyone sat at once. The place was almost empty and the. Within 15 minutes it was overrun with large groups. Due to this it took a long time (15+ minutes) to get food. The salad bar items didn’t look fresh, so I didn’t try them. The hot items were good, but the maduros were fried whole so they were sort of wet / undercooked in the center. If you’re expecting the quality of one of the popular chain churrascaria’s you’ll be disappointed, but if you have never had that experience you may really like Ipanema.
