Went waking around downtown today and stopped at Omallys alley for lunch and an ice cold beer. Since we had our dogs with us we asked to sit out back. The bartender was super nice and told us that since there was no one else out there we could let the dogs off their leash and run free while we relaxed. It made for a very pleasant experience. The bartender even brought out water for the dogs.
Now onto the food. The sandwiches were to die for. I can't remember the name of it but it was like an Italian Cuban. Very yummy. service was also excellent even though she had to go out of her way to come visit us out on the back deck. Our glasses never went empty and neither did the dogs. Lol. Will definitely have to visit again with our dogs.
I like the layout of the place. Really up close and personal with the bands. Also, place to be if you were not interested in the band. Friendly place.
Definitely one of my favorite spots. Thirsty Thursdays are amazing! The bartenders always remember what I'm drinking every time I go for a refill. Plus the atmosphere is great!
Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good hang out spot.

Omallys is the place Any person can come to its a place that gas that warm feeling and no it's not someone throwing up on you that might come later tho so don't rule it out. The bartenders are awesome and they now how to do their jobs lemme tell you if your feeling down step on in to omallys and they well either smile one way or another our they will make sure you forget what was holding you down. awesome place all around

Love bartender Liz there on Friday and Tuesday nights. Food is great especially the smoked fish appetizer.

are raw. Musician out back in the "alley" is very good

This place was Exactly what I was hoping for!
The staff and regulars were awesome to me as someone from out of state. The food was great for a local bar, definitely better than a lot of other places I’ve eaten at.
If you don’t want the National Franchise experience that you can get anywhere, and you’re really looking for a hometown place because you’re visiting here, you should Definitely stop by!

Nice place with great staff. Tons of whiskey's, and a decent selection of beer with 12 on tap. Live music daily at 10pm with a live dj in the outside patio daily. A couple of fun games, jukebox, punching machine for the drunk. Actually a really nice spot, pleasantly surprised.
Come here for a good time but make sure you check out what is happening before hand because you will have a different experience different days here. This is an all time Ocala hang out spot. Make sure that you check out the backyard area which most first timers aren’t aware of.
Dark, quiet, and pleasant. No frills, but we like it that way. The sandwiches are great and come out quickly. I love the chili lime chicken sandwich and hubby always picks the Cuban or the Reuben. Sandwiches come with chips and a nice crisp pickle. Service is always friendly and very attentive. The tables and floor are clean and there is no smoking inside now, which is a huge plus if that is what kept you away in the past. Of course, if you enjoy smoking, they have a clean outdoor area as well. There is a Golden Tee game and Touch Tunes as a bonus!
Stopped in from out of town, and was pleased with the place. Staff was very friendly, food was good (we tried their two O' George sandwiches), drinks were good (they sure don't short you when you ask for a double), the inside was air conditioned, which felt lovely with the humidity outside during the day, and there's actually an entire outside area to this place on the backside. There are two levels and a bar located outback as well. Looking at it from the front it might not seem like much, but man am I glad we went in and enjoyed our night there! Will swing through again next time we are in town.
Not only was the food surprisingly delicious, but the staff was some of the most amazing people EVER!! The waiter was funny, attentive, and just super cool. Had a great time there with my lady friend 😉

Fun place, the entrance is a little misleading. There is a big dance area/bar in the back. Gets very busy, so be patient with the bartenders. They are super chill and nice.
Easy parking and convenient. Katherine was our server. My first time there as I took an employee who was never there either. What fun and warm welcome for Saint Patrick's Day. The staff and guests were all decked out in the festive clothing and articles. What a wonderful mid day getaway. The food was priced good as well as the drinks. I high recommended stopping in. While it was quite busy, we were never left unattended and treated lime friends. The guests were , as well very friendly. 10 stars.
