Taste of Asia restaurant in Ocala FL is an absolutely fantastic place to dine at for anyone interested in trying vietnamese cuisine. My partner and I visited this restaurant yesterday (02/13/2016) and was delightfully surprised by the kind servers that waited on us. The service to me as sweet as sweet tea. We ordered a Bah mi pork sandwich, barbecue shrimp and rice plate, beef ramen and spring egg rolls. The egg rolls were served first as expected and pretty quick might I add. The egg rolls were really crisp and the filling inside was definitely packed in there good. The rest of our dishes were served promptly after finishing the egg rolls. The Bah mi pork sandwich is what we both dug into immediately. The pork utilized in this sandwich was extremely tender, not too fatty like some pork can be, and definitely juicy. The pickled vegetables served on this sandwich were extremely tasty and fresh. I proceeded in trying the barbecue shrimp and white rice plate. This meal was fabulous. The barbecue sauce used was phenomenal and I doubt it came from bottle off a food service truck. The rice was cooked thoroughly and definitely not overcooked. The shrimp was great and blended beautifully with the vegetables served on this plate. My only complaint was that I found shrimp tails in some of the vegetables as I wouldn't have expected there to be any. I just tossed them aside because after all it is a shrimp dinner so you can't complain too horribly. Finally I ended with the beef ramen. The fresh scallions and real beef used in this ramen was by far the best ramen I ever had any one make me. The noodles were also not over cooked and not undercooked. The beef utilized in this ramen was also very tender and seemed to blend well with rest of the components used in the ramen. All I have to say is I came in really hungry and definitely almost too satisfied when I left. If you ever want to try real vietnamese cuisine at a moderate price for the portion you get, this is definitely the place.

I had high expectations based on the reviews and beautiful photos, and my expectations were majorly exceeded! My love and I had beef pho and boba milk tea (taro for him, honeydew for me), we have never had pho before so it was a new experience. The pho was beautiful, the beef was tender, the greens were great, the noodles were perfect, and that broth, omg, that broth~! We've both had boba milk tea before this, but like the pho it was amazing, best we've ever had. We will definitely be returning. Thanks so much for the experience!

This place is packed for dinner. Every table is full. Great food, meal served in to go bowls for easy exit. Vegan options are delicious and every table has a variety of sauces to add heat and flavor to your meal. Careful of the red sauce - a little goes a long way!

We shared an order of fresh rolls with shrimp in them and a bowl of Hu Tien Vietnamese soup. The fresh rolls were good and the peanut sauce was good. They were both fresh, but not outstanding. The soup was absolutely, incredibly delicious. Very hot, fresh ingredients, wonderful stock flavor, and add lots of meat in it. We added just a tiny bit of their chili sauce and that made it quite spicy. The serving size was good because we both left full. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return when we are in this area. They accept cash only, so be prepared.

Were the only Thai restaurant open around on Monday, so I gave a shot. Pretty good food. Everything was delicious and good service too. Portions were big. I ordered a soup and pad thai, expecting to share btw me and my friend. I hate to remove a start but you won't be able to share as they come in to go boxes even for a dine in. Other than that 5/5.

Looking for authentic Asian food with a varied choice, made to order? With a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful staff, this is your next destination. Highly convenient bowls for take out after you're done, with high cleaning standards. If this place was any more convenient, I'd think I was in Japan all over again. Well done !

Food is really good. Very good flavor. We had several dishes as a test and they were all amazing. Nice little place. Owners are Vietnamese who do all the cooking and waiting. Nice portions. Just make sure when they read back your order that it's accurate.

Loved the pho, and my mom said their spring rolls were the best she's ever had! The waiter could have been a little more pleasant, he never smiled and barely spoke. But the food was worth it!

Absolutely loved eating here. The kind lady took our order, then cooked it, and served us our food. She was so nice! Best part all the food was absolutely amazing and each meal had so much food enough for lots of left overs ☺️.

Well, the food was quite good. The egg rolls were to die for. However, be aware that they only take cash at this time. Also, you can eat in but the atmosphere is plainish, not a place where you would want to take a date out for the evening.

Cute little place with delicious and authentic ramen. The Pho is delicious as well. We always get the boba tea before we leave. The Vietnamese couple that work/own the restaurant are so nice and courteous, they answer all of our questions no matter how silly!

So authentic and delicious. The servings are big and filling. I couldn't be happier with our choice of restaurant tonight and we've had the real deal. Don't focus on the service, you won't regret eating the food!

Great restaurant - stopped in to grab a menu & had an order of fresh spring rolls- very good but I wish basil was one of the ingredients inside the rolls. I will ask next time to cut the thickness of the peanut sauce. The place was very busy at 1:30 PM. Most everyone was enjoying different Pho's. I can't wait to return & try other items on the menu Today we shared an order of the best spring rolls ever. I had beef Pho, very good. My wife had the crispy noodle dish which was full of beef, noodles & al dente vegetables in a very flavorful sauce. I liked this dish better than my Pho but truth be told the Pho is awesome.

Best pho I’ve ever had, their broth is so flavorful, rich with seasoning and herbs. It’s amazing. I drive down from gainesville specifically to have this place cause no where in my town is the food this good. Would recommend to anyone passing by Ocala, worth stopping for.
