I was told that this place has great ribs, so we did go for the ribs. I had the baby backs and the others had the St. Luis ribs. Both styles were great. The St. Luis ribs are bigger and meatier. You can chose two sides, of which I had the coleslaw and the sweet potatoes. I could not eat the sickenly sweet sweet potatoes, but enjoyed the coleslaw. The little side of garlic bread really didn’t have much garlic at all.
A number of the listed sides come at a premium, so be careful. All in all I enjoyed the full slab and the coleslaw.

The baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender. We asked for and received crispy French Fries. The coleslaw was exceptional.

Ladies and Gents. This place, Oh my, this place is ridiculously FINGER LICK’N delicious. I cannot even find words to describe the flavors and deliciousness you having dancing around in your mouth when eating here. I feel like I say this to a lot of places I go to but trust me when I tell you that this will be the only BBQ joint I eat at moving forward. I have found the pearly gates of BBQ. I have only tried the full baby back rack with a biscuit, southern green beans and jalapeño Mac n cheese. O. M. G. The flavors are out of this world. The ribs fall off the bone. The BBQ sauces are all delicious and so so tasty. They even have the sauces in a warmer. 😳 I seriously cannot find any words to describe how tasty this place is. You are just going to have to take a trip and find out for yourself. 20/10 recommend.
Perfection all off the young ladies working there were so polite. We enjoyed our meal and a wonderful time. I love stopping by small quality restaurants that offer a friendly atmosphere with wonderful food. So stop by and experience a wonderful meal. See you next time we are in town. If I lived there, I would be a weekly regular attendance.

Only reason for a 4 star on the food is that they didn't have two kinds of salad dressings I asked for and one was honey mustard. The ribs, however were top-notch! The server was new, but very nice and still did a good job.
Absolutely amazing food, probably the best brisket I had in years! Their bbq sauces are delicious. Jalapeño Mac and cheese was the bomb. Make sure you visit this place when in Ocala!
One of the best beef brisket I have had, soft, juicy, just falls apart to touch. Great service, food came out pretty fast. Price point good. Will go again.
I was craving some pulled pork nachos, came up on this place online and I was overjoyed to see they had a pulled pork fries option! I knew I had to go! The second my boyfriend and I walked in there, it felt very home-like with a very warm welcome from Marissa and the other staff :) I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in town again!
Really happy that I stopped by. Read positive reviews. Had sliced pork. Lean just right smoke. Very thinly sliced and delicious. Did not need any sauce, but I tried ; Kickin Hot and Liquid Gold. Wow, Excellent! Country string beans were really good and had a kick. Mac and cheese were very flavorful and special. Sweet tea well done. I am very satisfied and will recommend to all my friends and family. Fast nice service. Good price. Was served on tray with heavy paper liner. Fun place to eat.
We enjoyed our experience at Big Rascals Bbq & Grill. Food was excellent. Prices were decent. Service was good. We tried the corn nuggets (with powdered sugar!!!) collars, mashed sweet potatoes, brisket, biscuit, pulled pork sandwich, slaw, fried moon pie, and chocolate cheesecake. Just FYI, the biscuits are not homemade. They are fine, but it was a slight surprise for me. I probably would've ordered the garlic bread if I'd known. Atmosphere is fun and clean. Low & Slow!!

Ny strip salad and soup... Everything was absolutely great. The salad was fresh and lightly tangy. The steak was melt in your mouth. The soup was very good and very hearty. Everything was very good no complaints no regrets. Will be back.
The food and service is amazing. It's a great restaurant big enough for large groups with a small town home cooked meal feel. We live in St. Pete and with each trip to float down the Rainbow River this is a must stop along the way. We have introduced many of our friends/family to this restaurant who have enjoyed it just as much.
I had the burnt ends plate with their homemade coleslaw and fries. And oh my goodness it was the best I've ever tasted. Their mozzarella sticks were good as well. My husband had their wings and omg good. When ever you're in Ocala this is a place to go.for good BBQ.
We went to Big Rascals yesterday. As always the food and service was amazing!! Katelynn was our server and she was absolutely Awesome!! I had the full rack of St. Louis Ribs. They were very meaty and fall off the bone tender. Everything I have ever gotten here is fantastic!! Great BBQ!!
Stopped and checked it out on the advice of a friend. Well lit and clean interior, staff was super friendly and got my take out order prepared quickly and accurately. Food quality was top notch and shout out to Charlie. The conversation was as good as the food! 10/10 would definitely recommend to friends and family. I'll absolutely be back soon!

Went on a whim for lunch. Was by the exit we were getting off at. So glad we did. The staff was friendly & attentive.
Drinks served pretty quickly. Food came out very shortly after ordering. French fries are nice and crisp and hot!
Beef brisket is so tender it pulls apart with the fork & is very tasty. The picture is missing the garlic bread!
The Smokehouse Sundae made up of sliced lean pork loin piled with barbecue beans and coleslaw on an amazingly deliciously soft roll was awesome.
Would definitely recommend this place.
