Stopped here for our first dinner in Ocean City and certainly weren't disappointed. The sautéed flounder meunière with caramelized butter and fresh lemon with basmati rice pilaf was the favorite by far and the ocean view was definitely a highlight.

Ocean Front Dining at its Best!. We are the type of family that would much rater eat at a Chef Owned and operated Restaurant than eat at one owned by a corporation… We are tired of the corporate idea of a good restaurant.
We have been eating at Steve & Carolyn Nicoletti's restaurant's since the early 80's when they were the original founders and owners of the Culinary Garden. To say we love Café Beach Club is an understatement! Let's see, they're Chef owned, and everyday they are open the Chef works. They make their own stocks, soups, sauces, dressings, omelet's in omelet pans, homemade Belgian waffles, homemade whipped cream, smoked salmon eggs Benedict, surf and turf burgers, roast fresh turkey for clubs, homemade jumbo lump crab cakes, they make a crab cake club sandwich on a fresh baked croissant (it's called a Café Beach "Club") and yes they even make homemade desserts (try the chocolate cappuccino cake). We ate there last during the weekdays in September and while other restaurants sat empty they had lines. We believe it's because they offer high quality food for reasonable prices. Cafe Beach Club is oceanfront with outside patio dining available. The food quality is truly top notch, and the place is always clean. The staff must be well trained and all of them seem to really like working there, because you see pride in their work, and they really work together well as a team; we find that a very rare thing these days. If you can't already tell we are true foodies, we appreciate fine food, prepared and served by people that really know what they are doing! We just wish they were in Philly, so we could eat at Café Beach Club year round, but it gives us something to look forward to when we go to Ocean City, NJ!
Great food and view!. I've been going to Ocean City all my life. There are a lot of "OK" restaurants, but until I first tried the Cafe Beach Club, there was nothing to "write home about". The cafe is located on the boardwalk side of the Beach Club hotel. The view of the ocean from the dining room is awesome! I personally like the air-conditioning, but there is outside dining as well.
When we first tried the cafe a couple years ago, I was expecting it to be pricey based on the location, however, we found very reasonable prices and outstanding seafood entries.
Ate here for breakfast on Sunday. It was nice they had a outside porch to eat and inside. We chose inside because it was really hot that day and we needed air conditioning to say the least. Although it is a bit tidy and crowded in this place especially when it’s packed with people. Me and my son got double cheese omelette to us we don’t see it as doubled but to them it is doubled but overall the omelette was really delicious and yummy and the home fries were different but very good. The toast was good and everything else. Everyone liked there meal that they got which is great. Although my mom’s breakfast bowl she got her home fries weren’t seasoned. It’s nice that you get one free refill with coffee and hot tea. Overall it was a nice experience and I would eat here again for breakfast when I come back to OC.
I've been spending parts of my summers in Ocean City for the last 44 years and i can say unequivocally that there is no better breakfast, lunch, or dinner to be had on the island. They serve really good food at reasonable prices and the staff is friendly as well. Go early one morning and have breakfast out on the porch. You will not regret it. Update - June 2023 - I still stand by my review from four years ago. This place offers the best food on the boardwalk. Great service, a friendly staff and a chef who knows how to offer great food. Pictured here is the Cinnamon Bun French Toast. On the side are home fries with sautéed onions which are fabulous. If you’re in Ocean City try this place. You will not be disappointed.
Old-style diner service and menu, very reasonable prices for a Boardwalk-view restaurant. Nice variety of omelettes, French toast, and pancake dishes for around $12. Home fries are not their best item. Servers are very courteous and knowledgeable. Florentine omelette is out of this world delicious. Seating is a bit tight, but nothing less than I would expect for a boardwalk diner. Well worth a visit.
Great place for breakfast. Had the vegetarian and Mexican omelettes and they were both delicious. We also had french toast, pancakes, waffle, bacon, etc. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. Prices were reasonable too. Wait time for a table were typically not long. Great view to the ocean too from both of inside and outside. Probably best place on the boardwalk for breakfast.
The lunch I had here was very good and very reasonable pricing. I'll also add that they had some of the nicest staff anywhere on the Boardwalk. Very happy with my experience.

110% Superb!!! Service was prompt & plentiful. Our brunch food was great! Jersey Shore breakfast restaurants can be hit or miss, but Cafe Beach Club never disappoints! 😊👍❤ Highly recommend!

Café Beach Club opens at 7am for breakfast…one of the first on the Board Walk to be open. Steve, the owner-chef, and his team do a great job to consistently prepare a delicious breakfast. He prepares our special order…steamed vegetables with one over easy egg and guacamole on the side In the most delicious way(picture below). Watching the ocean from the narrow balcony, while enjoying breakfast and a single shot espresso in a dainty cup, is one of our personal highlights of visiting OC.
Awesome place to eat breakfast! I love their omelets and waffles. It’s nice to eat outside and look right at the Boardwalk. The staff and service is also excellent. I honestly have no complaints. It’s a great place to eat and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone.
Always enjoy The Beach Club Cafe Breakfast and Lunch the service is always pleasant friendly atmosphere the food outstanding never any problem this is our 10th year! September 21, 2023
