After reading the recent bad reviews we were skeptical about eating here. I’m glad we decided to! Our waiter was very attentive and the seafood was amazing. My son is a picky eater and doesn’t like seafood but found food he did like, especially the cheese curds and fried chicken.
Absolutely excellent buffet. The variety of foods for all ages fit our family’s menu requests for dinner. The staff kept the buffet filled, the waitress cleaned our table as needed, and refilled our drinks. Looking forward to going back in September.
Always a great experience. Visit Embers every summer, and lived in OC for 10+ years. Always the same great food and service. They serve several hundred people a night, and there’s rarely a wait, the food is always full at the buffet and the selection of items is better than anywhere.
This was one of the biggest and best seafood buffets I have been to. The seafood selection was amazing and everything was so fresh. We will definitely come back.

I really had to check out Embers as the reviews were so polarizing. I went on Friday at 5 and was seated quickly. I was there for the seafood but the other dishes looked pretty good and fresh.
There was a nice selection of fried seafood that was cooked well with the exception of the clam strips which were definitely in the fryer too long. I go to seafood buffets for crab legs. They were very good overall, but inconsistent. Some were perfect, some were very good, but a couple clusters were just bad. Again, overall very good and I am really not complaining at this price point.
Arianna our server was so friendly, always smiling, and I was in disbelief when she told us it was her first day. Perfect service, and I hope she keeps up the good work through the season. The dining area was clean and the bus staff plentiful and keeping things tidy.
I can understand some of the bad reviews, but I can't imagine ever having a bad experience here and will return. I don't ever expect a perfect dining experience at any buffet, but this one was very good.
Amazing waiters, polite and on point. The food selection was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection. Cheesecake tasted devine. I loved the views out the window pouring into the docks. Besides the potatoes being dry and bland, everything was awesome. Best restaurant I have ever been to in ocean city.

This is my first time to this restaurant, and I feel like this is a great place to eat when your hungry. Embers Resturant has everything laid out perfectly, though the the ribs didn’t fall off the bone, like I had before. The potato skins were probably out for too long and felt stale. Overall, I loved everything else. The crabs were great, every time I came up they had a new Mac & Cheese plate out, it’s delicious. This place has my word. Embers food is great.
This is a seafood buffet which was great they have other items you can order servers very attentive and friendly very pricey but worth it.
Always a great seafood buffet.My wife, myself and 8 children have been coming here for years Our Ocean City vacation wouldn't be complete without dinner at Embers. The cost is kinda high but we noticed on our receipt there was almost 20 dollars in taxes a food tax a Ocean City tax and a state tax but the food is certainly worth it. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Ocean City area.
