The best place for breakfast!!! It’s my must go to place when I’m in OC! Been here since I was a kid - raised on the chipped beef!
First time eating there. Service was great and the food came out in about 5 minutes. Some of the best cream chipped beef I've ever eaten. If you leave hungry it's your fault.
My favorite place to have breakfast in OC. You absolutely must have the Creamed Chip Beef. It is the best! I have always had great service there.
Super fast service, and great breakfast! My dad LOVED the cream chip beef, and the eggs/hash browns and bacon were yummy. We will return!

For many years we have always had breakfast each day at the same restaurant. Although they remain consistently great with their food, this morning's breakfast here made us decide this will now be our breakfast spot. Walking in and seeing all of the police station patches, hats, and support for public servants was an immediate heart warmer. My husband is a Police Sergeant and I am a former EMS Supervisor. Our waitress was friendly, the restaurant was clean and we could not believe how fast our food was served! Here's the thing - my deceased mother was loved for her cream chipped beef. Although we all have her recipe, we can never make it quite the same nor have we ever had it at a restaurant that comes close to her's. From the moment that gorgeous plate of love was placed in front of me, I was in shock! It looked like her's, (although she always went crazy with much more dried beef!) smelled like hers...and came darn near close to her's!!!! Thank you for giving me a moment of feeling my mom's presence once again!!! Everyone else in our group raved about their meals as well! We will be back- again and again and will also be telling our family and friends this place is a must when in OC!!! �

Always a great breakfast. Fan of pancakes, light and fluffy and hugh. Our breakfast stop when you can't eat at home!! Gotta try.
Excellent and fast service! The chipped beef and hash browns were fantastic! The coffee was pretty excellent! Our waitress was awesome! Love going here every year we go to OC!
We ate breakfast here and we have zero complaints about the restaurant, staff or food. I ate the Seafood Omlette which was loaded with crab meat, shrimp and scallops. Wife got the House specialty creamed Chipped Beef. Very delicious food and nice portions. I believe Millie was our servers name. Very attentive and nice
I've been eating here since they were located off of tenth street at the old George Washington Hotel. Always a great experience with good food.
I really have no complaints about our breakfast. Service was great and the food was delicious. The scrapple was fantastic.
Not sure a better breakfast can be had in Ocean City for the money. Service was excellent and food was great. My coffee cup was never empty and everyone was very friendly. This was good home cooking and not chain restaurant food. I highly recommend checking this place out!!

What can I say about Generals kitchen that most people don’t know already? This is a standby of the OC area for I believe at least 30 years. They have had two different locations over the years but the food remains amazing and the severs fantastically friendly even though they are usually very busy. Even with all the people visiting you still get your food quickly and the prices and quality is great. We will continue to patronize this location for many years to come. If you haven’t been here please give it a try.
Found out about this place while driving to Ocean Downs Casino. I pulled up to a red light somewhere along 13 before I got to Ocean Pines South, I rolled down my window and looked over at a man and asked him " if you were to go get breakfast right now, where would you go?" His response was : buddy sure as rain I'd go to Generals Kitchen.
So here am I am enjoying my breakfast ( sausage and ham with cheese add grilled onions omelet ) after riding 3 hours from Virginia Beach before I venture into Ocean Downs.
Truly a remarkable place and solid good comfort food.
