This has been our favorite lunch place for years. The food is the best, and the staff is friendly. It’s the only place that has enchilada sauce that doesn’t disappoint. They just moved to a new location and the new restaurant is outstanding, and has a full bar! Bonus!!
My husband and I absolutely LOVE ❤️this restaurant!!! We have gone here for many years and it is our favorite go-to. It is family owned with homemade food that is made by their mom's recipes. We have tried many dishes and everything is so good! I usually get a chicken burrito plate, which tastes like it's been cooking in a crock pot all day. I also really recommend their shrimp plates, made with large butterfly shrimp. They also make great chips, salsa & pico, rice & beans. If you want comfort food, this is the place to go. I can't tell you how many people we have referred here, (NOT to be confused with the other Anita's in town, as they are not even related). We are super excited about the new Grand Opening and have been counting down the days. The new facility looks to be amazing with the photos they have posted and a cool bar with many beers on tap. When we go, they have always been very nice & friendly, given us wonderful service and have even gotten to know us. Can't Wait‼️
The new place is AMAZING! The food is soooooo good! Exactly the way it was at the old place! The decor is so cool! The service was great!!!! (Even on opening night!) The bar is definitely going to be our go-to spot! Couldn’t be happier!

Hey I like this Mexican restaurant better than any other! I’ve been going to this place for years and now they have a new location! Can’t wait to go there. Can’t believe I was last there in August; I’m way overdue!
I’m good now, great food, wonderful surprises, met two great guys who hadn’t seen each other in ten years, but were so gracious to include me in their conversations occasionally. The staff is amazing, you feel completely welcomed. The food delicious as always. The decor is totally different from the old spot.....a very nice change. Love the bar area and the great big door..... “The Big Door” The iron work is quite intriguing outside, can’t wait to enjoy the outside patio area once completed. I do hope they consider a fire pit:) I wish you much continued success

Anita's is Oceanside's best Mexican Cuisine!!! The drinks, the appetizers, main dishes and desserts are top notch.. we've been visiting Anita's since 1993, and can't wait to go back!!!
Sam great food and service, awesome new decor and vibes! I have been going to Anita’s coastal location since I was a girl, and it still holds up! I wish they would get a homemade Margarita (signature to their restaurant) and then all my Anitas dreams would come true!
Our family tradition. We love Anita's! Been going there since the beginning and remains our favorite place to go when we are all in town.

Best Mexican food I've had in a realllly long time. 100% authentic! Service was fast and our Server was super sweet. Margaritas were super legit as well. I HIGHLY recommend this yummy eatery!

We visited the area and a local person suggested this location. We fell in love that 5 months later we visited San Diego and decided to drive up to Anita's on a day trip. I think this will a place to visit each time we are in the vicinity. Try it, portions are large, food is great. You will not be disappointed.
