We absolutely love this place. The staff is always so friendly. Love the new menu!! We had the best food last night and cocktails with our friends. I highly recommend the Dirty Hooker Pirate drink. It is out of this world.
This place is just chill. Went there on the 4th of July thinking it was going to be a mad house. Was not true. Downtown "O" was a ghost town but the service was awesome with the bartender and server. Both lady's were very attractive and attentive to the party hanging out. Always feel bad when people have to work on holiday.

Found this place on Trip Advisor last night while trying to find a cold beer and some late night food. We LOVED it!! The late night food menu exceeded my expectations. Bacon wrapped shrimp, crab sliders and an ahi sandwich all were delicious!! Great service and a big variety for beer. This place is highly recommended!!

Great place. Food was amazing, not a single complaint. The SD Manhattan was the best Manhattan I've had and the beer selection was impressive. The atmosphere was perfect. People are friendly. The prices were appropriate. One of the best bars in Oceanside.
Had the short rib hash scramble on Sunday and it was absolutely delicious! Also some of the best calamari I have ever had! The kids were going nuts over their french toast! It was fantastic, thank you!
Got a gift card for this place so I decided to try out it out and am really happy I did. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and personable staff. The buffalo Chicken Sandwich was amazing! Perfect combination of heat and flavor. They make there own sauce! Definitely coming back!!
I love this place! The bartender and the rest of the staff are amazing. And the drinks and appetizers and full menu are incredible. I love how they change everything around! A must when you're in Oceanside!!
Cameron, thank u soooo much, we had my sons graduation party here Thursday night, amazing staff food and drinks so accommodating so welcoming, this place is awesome any other day or night of the week but I feel like Cam and his staff really went above and beyond to make my son's high school graduation party unforgettable❤️❤️❤️
Such a gem of a place! I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. My new favorite drink there is the 7% alcohol Kombucha. Yum!

Really impressed with the Mission Ave Bar and Grill! We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. The staff is very friendly, we were sat quickly and had drinks almost right away. BUT the food.. so amazing! We ordered the burger and the Asian salad and both were so delicious. We were both blown away. The location is great, just towards the edge of the downtown area but still only a 5-10 min walk from the pier. Looking forward to stopping here again when I'm in town.
Excellent food and service. We came in for New Years Eve and everything was top notch. Good music and ambiance with large selection of beers, whiskeys and cocktails. I had the udon noodle dish with steak and my wife had the hot wings. Will definitely be back to try more!
Good food and great atmosphere. We ordered the brisket grilled cheese and tomato soup and the cheeseburger. The tomato soup was just right and the fries were crunchy as they should be ! The burger and grilled cheese were tasty! Perfect spot to stop for a late night bite :)

Came in today to see my buddy that was working as the head Chef, Woody.
Turns out he's no longer here but I stayed and had lunch anyway. I'm glad I did. 😃
The bartender Amy was very attentive and brought me a Raspberry vodka & sprite in about 90 seconds after I asked for it! So nice. Not too strong but not weak either, just right! The ice was the perfect temperature too. 😉
I thought about ordering the Green chili pork fries based on Amy's excellent description of it, but unfortunately I am allergic to onions so I had to choose something else. I was bummed because she made them sound so delicious. With no way to pull the onions out, as they are cooked into the sauce I had to pass. It sounded so good I almost ordered it anyway!
I ended up settling on the Turkey Sandwich and was incredibly surprised.
Way better than I expected, in fact I told her it literally reminded me if the day after Thanksgiving, but seriously elevated!
It didn't have cranberry on it but something gave me a reminder of the cranberry Mom use to put on her day after T-day sandwiches years ago. Oh the memories it brought back.
The Turkey Sandwich as on the Mission Ave menu includes; Herbaceous turkey, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, mostarda, and chili aioli on toasted sourdough.
It also came with some very crispy fries, ranch, and ketchup. Perfection!
So darn good.
I only work a few blocks away but haven't ever made it in to Mission Ave. for lunch yet.
After tasting that Sandwich and being slightly smitten with Amy's incredibly good service, I will coming back for more of both on the regular.
I highly recommend you ask for Amy, or just sit at the bar and you can't miss her beautiful smile and kind greetings.
