This is the best place in town it has one of the best views in all of Oceanside. Angelos is totally classic has the best menu the nicest stuff and family owned. Angelo's is still the one of the best places to have a beer and a burger. I love,love,love,love this place.

The portions are gigantic! If there are 2 people in your party just one order of fries will be plenty.
The breakfast served all day are equally large. Enough for 2 people and I weigh over 200lbs.

I always enjoy coming here their fish tacos are to die for they have big portions on all your meals a lot of food way too much just for one sitting so always have some to take home their carne asada fries speak for themselves they are delicious and satisfying and there's way too much of those also everytime that I come down to Oceanside this is where I eat when I first get off the train its been a tradition for me for years and years and years and I really do recommend this place to eat

NOTE: This particular visit, I was a bit disappointed to see the cook handle my food with bare hands then kinda "throw" the extra pickles on in a half-hearted manner, wrap and cut it in half like he didn't care.
The cook may very well have been tired, as was the yawning young man that took my order, and this type of energy is transmuted to your food and the overall experience.
The burger was a dry piece of meat and literally slapped together. To minimize the negative vibes I put some ketchup on the burger and enjoyed it without the bun.
Took my first trip to California and everyone kept saying how awesome in-n-out was. Angelo's hands down was the best burger and "fast food" experience I had. I know I will be telling everyone about them and will visit again!
My brother and take a Cruz up to Oceanside every other Saturday to get our Angelo's fix! The food is awesome!! Fresh and delicious!! Live their gyros and the onion rings are great! It's so worth the trip up there! The staff are friendly! Oh and the carne asada... Yummy �
Surprised by the large portions of food. We had a large group and they got everyone’s order. Food was hot and prompt. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner all day.

When I can't finish my fries, I don't feel like I'm sinning haha. Anyway the food is great and I brought a friend from Long Island and he had a breakfast burrito for the first time in his fifty year old life. He said it was the best meal he's ever had. I agree all my life in San Diego I felt like I'd died and went to Heaven when I discovered Angelo's. Best gyros in the world too. It ain't fancy but still a great place to bring a girl because girls get hungry too.
My family absolutely loves coming here. I have a hard time getting my kids to eat certain veggies. Everytime we come, my little ones love the zucchini fries. Their burgers are to die for not to mention the regular fries are thick and amazinf. If u leave here hungry then that's your own fault. If your a tourist I highly recommend!!!

Angelo’s is a decent burger joint in Oceanside not far from some really great bars. They have a wide variety of burgers and also serve salads and burritos. Oh, and they’ve got a nice beer selection.
The cheeseburger is solid and they serve a large portion of fries. It’s also not too pricey for something that’s quite a bump up from fast food. It’s definitely worth hitting up if you’re in the mood and the area.
We stopped here to eat during a motorcycle ride on the 101 and it was a pleasant experience. The portions are big and the service was fast and friendly. The food was good, a little bland for my taste, but nothing a little hot sauce can't fix. I liked it and would stop by again if I'm in the area.
Family favorite since I was 15, same location. Was our stop before sometimes but always after going surfing, was in love with the fried zucchini and they uses to come in a brown lunch bag. These days we have the pastrami sandwich or have the big breakfast. And can't forget the shake.. they have definitely evolved over the years. Serving beer and espresso, and can always catch a game on the several TVs they have. Sit outside and people watch and feel the nice warm california sun. It's an Iconic location for over 40+yrs.

This might come as a biased review due to the fact that I have been coming here since the early 2000's after long surf sessions in North County San Diego. This place is a local fixture that has withstood the test of time that constantly delivers gigantic portions of home cooked meals that breathes the soul of what Oceanside is. It's a break from the daily grind. I ordered the chicken strips which is made of freshly breaded chicken and house made fries. Never frozen. I also ordered the classic gyro that was bigger than my arm, I happened to forget how big the portion was so I was only able to finish the chicken strips, but the gyro will be saved for later. When you walk in this location, which is one of many, you are comforted with the same friendly smile of the owner and chef who is here everyday. With beers on tap and good food, this is a place where locals cherish and hope never goes away. Because on a terrible day you can come here and grab one of the Staples then escape for an hour from rat race.
If you're reading this then you already did better than me. I saw the great reviews and just ordered for a family of 7. What I didn't realize is how large the portions were in addition to how amazing everything was going to be. We all ordered something a little different and didn't realize they were all sharable portions. Glad we tried so many different things as everything was phenomenal, but probably should have spread it out over the few days we're going to be here rather than getting it all in 1 night! Excellent food, service, and portions!
Very good tasting food with large portions . Good serving sizes for the price. Good environment and they sell beer as well. Worth the drive from wherever you are.
