The food was hot and tasted pretty good! It was my 1st time here and every one says it used to be way better. I was satisfied with the food and the quality of the food. Staff was nice. Gloria our waitress was AMAZING! She had us cracking up.I would go back just to see her. The place could use some major updates but it was clean and comfortable for the most part.
This place is a childhood staple for me. Pops always takes us there. Now I get the joy of taking my kids. Pops still comes with. The mashed potatoes are the best with a nice chopped steak. Fried chicken is always so good. The wait staff is alwsys nice. Great place that holds a special spot in my heart
Went to pick up Thanksgiving dinner. There was a line to pick up. I was 24th person in line. It took 1hour and 35/minutes to get my food. The only reason I may go back for Christmas is the food was outstanding and plenty. That is the reason I didn't give them a lower rating from service.
This location seems to be working to improve food quality as well as the dining room experience. The vegetables taste fresher and are not over cooked as had been the practice. Entree selections are varied and tasty. The nursing-home-disenfectant smell is gone from the dining room and the wait staff are attentive.
