Great food, live music, meat-loaded nachos the size of your head, local beer, (I don't drink but value the local culture and economy) and if you sit on the patio along the river, you can even bring your dog! The staff all seem happy and friendly which is rare, and Amanda even brought my dog a water bowl last night. Fantastic.
Met my wife here for the first time (introduced online) and we've been back multiple times a year ever since. Most special occasions and birthdays are spent here. Our favorite pizza place in Utah, and one of our favorite restaurants in general! The staff are great, and we've never had a bad meal there. Highly recommend the nachos, followed by a cardiac arrest and a "monkey" (cup) or ranch for dipping crusts. We tell everyone we know to come here!
It's the best pizza crust I've ever had in my entire life. I'm ruined forever for all other pizzas. And the toppings are amazing. So vegetarian friendly! Don't even get me started on the beer selection. I love this place!
OMG!! This place was ridiculous good!! The Hulk holy crap!!!!! Mac and cheese pizza was amazing too!!! But hands down the hulk is the best pizza I have ever had!!! The staff was so wonderful too!!!
Pizza was super tasty! I ordered the mac & cheese pizza and it was absolutely amazing! Staff members were attentive to our table and the food came out promptly. They also have indoor or patio seating. Great place to stop after a hike, trail run, or mountain bike ride in Ogden!

Not only is the food great, their selection of beer is awesome! And they have live music regularly as well. Great atmosphere and super nice and helpful staff.
One of my favorite place to unwind on the weekends. My hubby love it 'cos of the huge beer menu. We always sit outside by the river & I can't complain how we got treated. Good food with great servers.
Slackwater has amazing staff, food, beer selection and service. I've been many times and never been disappointed.
Good atmosphere. Not the place for a quiet dinner out thought. The food was great. I know they are famous for their pizza however I wasn’t feeling it so I opted for the wings which were small but great. They did give a large amount of them. They don’t give it to you by count but by weight which I personally think is smart. The nachos were too heavy. It tasted great while it lasted but only lasted for the top half unless we were feeling plain chips. The cheese bread was incredible. The ceaser salad needed more dressing. Just a few changes to make a huge difference.
Absolutely love this place. Best damn pizza and I am from Chicago originally so I know good pizza. I have had every pizza on the menu and there is not a bad one on the menu. Just depends on the mood you are in to choose what you want to eat. Also they are the second largest selection of beer in Utah.
We love Slackwater! Great flavors and interesting dishes. Love that you can get a crispy thin crust. So many other places have soggy crusts, Slackwater's are done to perfection. The atmosphere was fun, and the wait staff was excellent; the perfect amount of attentive. It's a loud restaurant, so if you're going to talk, it might be a bit tough. If you're going out for a fun night with great food, then it's a perfect spot. We love the salads, the Hulk pizza is our favorite, and I really enjoyed the Gyro pizza tonight. There's always something delicious and new to try. Can't wait to go back!
Wide selection of draft and bottle beers. I had a $5 draft. Ordered a half salad and an iron horse pizza turned into a calzone. Food was good and service was efficient. I sat at the bar. Decor is interesting and I was able to watch the Monday night football game.
Delicious food, variety of drinks to choose from, but the best is the entertainment! Local band played and we didn't want to leave! Nice to eat, chat, drink, and listen to great music. Family friendly too, but not over whelmed with kids! "Bill & Diane" band were the best!
Wonderful atmosphere with live music, amazing food, and very inexpensive! A great place for a night out. We got the spinach artichoke dip, buffalo chicken sandwich, gingerbread ale, and I got the buffalo chicken pizza as a calzone. Highly recommend!
This was our first experience and it was excellent! The service was fast, The food was fabulous! We will definitely be back to try more delicious pizza and salad!

Very chill place with live music and good food! They offer a large variety of beers! They also have good cocktails! Their pizzas are always delicious! (You can get them gluten-free)
I've tried almost every pizza on the menu! Pay attention to the ingredients. They are fresh and delicious and also creative! Some of my favorites are the California sunrise, and This is Sparta! My friends' go tos are Tikka Masala and the Hulk. My husband likes the Cardiac Arrest! You can't go wrong with a Magherita or the Italian job either. Get really adventurous and try the Cuban Crisis. It has pickles and mustard! My favorite salad is the Thai Coco. I also feel like the appetizer nachos are worth a mention. They use chili verde on it and the meat is so tender and amazing! They are delicious and definitely sharable, if you want to that is! 😋
Honestly, all the portions are very generous. They also feature a seasonal menu that is always worth a try!! I've enjoyed so many unique things on that menu! Definitely a good date or friends' night out place. (Also, great pricing, especially for what you get!)
Ate lunch with a small group. I had the Chicken Alfredo pizza, and my wife had the Southern Comfort pizza. With us having kids with us, it surprised us to see there was no dedicated kid's meal. Our server recommended we order a side of Mac & Cheese for our kids (wasn't shown on the menu), and it ended up being the most delicious part of the meal. Both of our pizzas were good (not great). Service was solid, though it could have been faster. It took a LONG time between placing our order and getting our food. Overall, we enjoyed the experience at Slackwater and will return again sometime in the future without kids.
Food is Fresh and Amazing!! Customer service is top notch!! Best wings in Ogden!! Curry soup is fresh and yummy!! Dessert was good also. If your in Ogden call and make a reservation. Dress is casual.
